  1. Still no sun to speak of. But I'm not letting that stop me. I'll try to get better pictures of these later ... after I find out what they're called.
  2. dreary here Was hoping to take some marble pictures but the sun never came out.
  3. Glass is good! That's a fun one. Do you have an Easter basket?
  4. ohmigosh, Dylan ... I don't want to give you a big head ... but you're a cutie!
  5. Hey Paul ... you didn't pick a new combo!
  6. I think this will turn out to be Vacor.
  7. I don't recognize this. But since I think your other one is likely to be Vacor, that's how I'm leaning here also.
  8. I remember that shade of green as one of the colors that people were glad Jabo was using, to help differentiate it from an older marble.
  9. We love Veiligglas! And that marble is a keeper no matter what. Exceptional.
  10. Almost an inch? Oh man, that's beautiful. My first thought was Alley, but I don't know if Alley did transparent swirls that large. So right now I'm leaning to Veiligglas. @winnie .... Winnie, what do you think?
  11. I never got to play Hungry Hungry Hippos! I think I need to put that on my Christmas list.
  12. The outside thermometer read 39 this morning as I headed out to the mailbox down the street and I let out an involuntary "ooooeeeee nice!" lol ... I'm easily pleased.
  13. Oh oh oh ..... remember this one? hehe A new employee is hired at the Tickle Me Elmo factory. The personnel manager explains her duties, and tells her to report to work promptly at 8:00 AM. The next day at 8:45 AM, there's a knock at the personnel manager's door. The assembly line foreman comes in and starts ranting about this new employee. He says she's incredibly slow, and the whole line is backing up. The foreman takes the personnel manager down to the factory floor to show him the problem. Sure enough, Elmos are backed up all over the place. At the end of the line is the new employee. She has a roll of the material used for the Elmos and a big bag of marbles. They both watch as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles, and starts sewing the little package between Elmo's legs. The personnel manager starts laughing hysterically. After several minutes, he pulls himself together, walks over to the woman, and says, "I'm sorry, I guess you misunderstood me yesterday. Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles."
  14. I wish you hadn't said "good" marble jokes. But I'll post this one anyway. Why was the birthday cake as hard as a rock? Because it was a marble cake.
  15. LOL. Me too. All I could think of was variations on the "lost your marbles" idea.

Hmmm. Long seams. I take back my Master guess.
  17. those are the craziest icicles I ever did see
  18. The aventurine also looks like the kind we see on some rare Akro Royals.
  19. Wow. That's beautiful. I don't recognize it as either Master or Akro. Not a combo I am familiar with. Sorry I'm not helpful today. P.s. welcome to the forum!
  20. If that is a slag, then Akro. Not Pelt or MFC. However, it's one of those that if I stare at it too long, I can't tell if it's slag or a West Virginia swirl. So I'm going to stop staring now.
  21. I would have gone gaga to find that magazine. I would have been so excited they would have doubled the price on the spot.
