Started an underwater thread not too long ago, but That1's picture is missing coz of the photobucket screwup --- and so it depresses me. So here's a new thread. These are the marbles I pass by in my office on the way to my computer. They make me happy ... and underwater is the only way I know to share with you anything close to how they appear in person. Probably a compromise on the distance might help, also. Closer than the three marble picture, but still a few inches away. (Assuming you haven't tried that yet.)

Nice effect in the sunlight. Got some lovely smoky tendril action. (p.s., I think it's an Akro, if you're curious.)

Rainbos will tend to have at least one pair of ribbons ending in the middle area of the seam. You have that color peeking out at the side. Not standard with anyone, but seems far from the norm with Pelt.

Hmmm ... oh gosh, don't stress I'm not getting a pelt feel though. More like Marble King or Vitro. But I don't know what to make of parts of it being "reddish transparent".

Well, I wanted to get outside and get some sunlight pix -- I know people like "natural" -- but I'm dragging my feet, and I do like the bright colors from a flash photo. Voila! DAS F.A.B.B. Coastal .... I have a date of Sept. 6, 2017 .... but I made the mistake of looking online and I'm seeing different dates

That's cool -- that would be aventurine. When you get a blacklight you should get an eyeful of glow from the base.

Need bigger pictures. Hmmmm ... not getting a good feel for the purple. Is there only one white stripe? It's not where I expect a stripe on a Pelt Rainbo to be.

Good angles. I think Master on those two. The Akro is a Moss Agate. Did you check it with a blacklight?

Yes on the green. No peerless patches. (They are opaque.) I'm not getting a distinct picture on the cutlines of the other two. The blue and white one could be a Master just based on color and general consistency of the white. (Close-ups of seams could possibly change my mind, but it's a safe first guess.) Leaning Vitro on the clear and white one .... but not so comfortably. Definitely close-ups of the ends could change the picture.
