  1. Thank you Bud, and Dave and Randy. I'm trying to think of something to add when Bud's auction is over.

    Moving ....

Still haven't set up my speakers or found my camera. So no pics of my new DAS's. And I somehow I lost track of my Groundhog Day cards! But I printed up some Groundhog Day stationery with graphics I got online, so I sent out letters instead of cards. And just to 8 people, but I sent one to my stepmother, and that's the most important. *whew*
  3. My first though was one which sounded ridiculous in my ears, since it's an Alley guy asking about the marble. But my first thought was Alley. Dug Akro sounds like an interesting possibility.
  4. nice to see a little Jackson action
  5. That has an ethereal loveliness ... like a forest at twilight.
  6. That's a crazy wild popeye, Winnie.
  7. Hi there. Those are Vacors. Made in Mexico after the year 2000. When you find a really big one, chances are very good that it's Vacor.
  8. Guess you do need shades for that one
  9. Coppery thread in the blue?
  10. thank you as always p.s., I just read this thread title as "Mostly Pix - Heaven"
  11. Citation is always good. However, Alan gave blanket permission for his work to be used. I'm going to break this segment of the thread off and move it down to the BOI/SZ forum.
  12. Must. Not. Laugh. Wonder who made 'em and who was gonna use 'em.
  13. Al, do you have bags like that in any of your jobber packaging?
  14. Alan and she were close friends, and he gave people permission to post text from his site. Would be less confusing if she cited it formally. But she was probably just trying to share the historical information as background. I'm sure she didn't mean anything nefarious by it.
  15. I'd need to drag out my Thornburg pics though and they're not on this hard drive yet. I _think_ I may have seen marbles that size, with crackle, which were not attributed to Tom and would go in the rough category of generic "repro". But again ... no pix for comparison at this time, so it's just fuzzy memory.
  16. Good thought. He made some smooth and some crackled.
