  1. I never saw the tie and scarf so close up. That's a wonderful piece. Thanks for showing us.
  2. Let's finish out the year with Christmas colors. Deck the halls ....
  3. f & j yes. Can't feel it on 5. Would like one.
  4. Not exactly the same but has the one-inch blue and white clearies: https://www.etsy.com/listing/151524478/vintage-game-tri-tac-toe-3d-tic-tac-toe Copyright 1973.
  5. Thanks guys. Sorry for being lazy before I asked. I was mostly interested in size and didn't think I would find that, so I tossed the rest of the questions up there as an afterthought. Here's a first run pic from one of the threads Mike mentioned: In one of the other threads, Rick mentions shooter size marbles in his first run set but says they could just be fillers -- bananas -- not filamented. So ... about 2000 marbles in the first run and about 5000 marbles in the second run? So, there aren't many available to find "in the wild". (I saw a large-sized marble somewhere which made me think of these 1st and 2nd runs ... but I didn't know if it was worth mentioning these runs as a possibility ... afraid to confuse the matter. And now I see odds would suggest that was a good decision.)
  6. A coupla days ago I thought about making green bean casserole. I didn't grow up with it and no one currently in my life makes it. Just tried it a couple of times. But pretty sure I want some.
  7. What size(s) were the Peltier Second Run marbles? How many were made? What does "Second Run" mean?
  8. P.s., it's a musical episode. I didn't remember that Love Boat did a musical.
  9. Star-studded Love Boat episode on MeTV http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0636723/
  10. Beautiful! I think I saw that sample set before but I don't remember for sure. What a beautiful specimen.
  11. How fun. All three of them. 1935 -- gotta love that. And the personal note with the first set -- gotta love that too. A buncha beautiful wirepulls.
  12. Yes, "frosted" is a common way to describe them. I don't know if it's officially how Vacor describes them. However, I think most will understand what you mean. And having one big one along with so many regular-sized ones makes it more likely that it is Vacor. They are often sold that way -- in nets with one big and many regular.
  13. I have _seen_ a couple of the boxes. Can't get enough of them. Always love to see their contents again. Fun to see all the solutions. Whenever I want to pull up a reminder of Japanese marbles I type "Fellers" into the search engine.
  14. Duplicates would be welcome anyway. Nice to revisit the favorites.
  15. Hiya. My votes are Jabo Classic for the first two and Vacor for the third. (The frosted look says "Vacor" to me ... either Vacor or a marble which has spent some time in an aquarium.)
  16. Oh no! Heart sinking for his family and friends and the marble world.
  17. Bump just because it's so pretty.
  18. Even for money, it seems such an unlikely combination of people and professions.
