  1. I see flame. I don't see calligraphy. Not sure what others will see.
  2. Pretty. As far as I know it's a Peltier Rainbo, with no other name. But fwiw, I think Berry Pink would have called it a moonie.
  3. It's gorgeous. My favorite colors. Is there a "rest of the story"?
  4. I consider cat's eyes to have two "obvious" cut lines. They have an obvious top and bottom. Just hard to see the cutline because the base is clear.
  5. I don't recognize the top one as Vacor. And I seem to remember several instances of yellow in clear being posted but I can't remember anyone coming up with a confident ID. ... but it also doesn't look like Vacor to me. .... I need to start taking notes ......
  6. That's good to hear. Hopefully others will check in soon!
  7. Jabos sure can be pretty. That broken cork was called a Blue Bee.
  8. Those are like Venetian blinds on yours, Dave!

    Pelt?

Is that aventurine? I think it's a cool Imperial.
  10. Hello. Welcome. You are correct. Vitros. Almost all Tiger Eyes, circa 1950s. On the bottom right are Conquerors, circa 1940s. Not quite sure on the two on the bottom left. (The green/white/orange third from the left on the bottom is also a Tiger Eye even though the base is not clear.)
  11. My thank you note was returned to sender. I knew the name wouldn't be recognized by the post office but I keep getting mail for people who don't live here so I hoped this mail would still get through even with the pseudonym. Oh well .... hope whoever it was realizes how grateful and delighted I was/am/would be.
  12. Hello! Long time. Nice colors. I'm thinking Alley now.

    Pelt?

Ummmm .... I think maybe when you deleted the other post you picture might have disappeared from this one too?
  14. What? Oooooh .... I get it!
  15. The ends of the corkscrew ribbon would be at the seams. But the seams might not be as conspicuous on corks. And if you do have a cork then the cork ribbon is usually so distinctive seams aren't necessary to see. And the ribbon is so dominant that it does give the marble a natural "top" and "bottom" which you might be likely to refer to instead of calling it a "seam". No "pontil" on corks. Corkscrews are machine made marbles. Pontils generally refer to marks on the ends of handmade marbles. Up to you which end you call top or bottom on a cork.
