  1. Nice! Did you pose that or find it that way? Ah ... I think I see my answer in the wizard thread.
  2. Hi Jane. I saw the thumbnails before I read your description. Caught me by surprise to see the right one was modern. Pretty cool.

  4. The calendars of the future will be animated, right?
  5. A whole bunch of purty rocks: http://share.ojooo.com/these-32-mineral-specimens-are-stunningly-beautiful
  6. Such elegant glass. I turned down a Hummel collection. The only Hummel I have is a little girl with a slate, which was my high school graduation present. My collections are Cracker Jack and gumball toys. And old textbooks.
  7. Oh wow. The marbles are nice! But that clock. What a treasure.
  8. Exactly, the box looks kinda newish. So I'm thinking it could have been well into the 1900's. But how far in? That's the puzzle.
  9. It is in the Ade family, in the sense that the Ades and your blue marbles were all sold as "Moss Agates" ... a popular marble for Akro. No idea what the collector's name for it would be. Zaboo would know that better than me. Nowadays people don't seem impressed by the Moss Agate name and they just use it for the patches. But that's what Akro called them. Moss Agates. And they were one of Akro's pricier lines.
  10. Anyone have a guess for the year on that box?
  11. Thanks! p.s., handsome caliper

  13. Here are the non-marbles I was thinking of when I started this thread. Some of the marbles in the purple thread reminded me of this ...
  14. I have one of those. (I like)
  15. Cool. I think 2003 Jabos were the first marbles I got since I was little.
  16. No idea right now. Just appreciation. Thanks guys.
  17. Anyone remember the vintage box of bluing balls which looked like benningtons? (And I think it was listed under marbles on eBay.) I tried to find a pic of that but all I got was a link to an old auction.
  18. I meant the little monkey face.
  19. lol ... just noticed the upside down little face
  20. That's off the hook, Rich. Can't even imagine. How did you get all of them to pose for you?
