Sherry, a nice bigger Peltier "Rainbo". This example is easily found, but always remember the (wash-over) colors that fool many to thinking it is another color. Having MANY other opinions makes you decide where it may lie in the producers time line. Chuck G---

All are Peltiers and can be found with a little searching. The second one, the "Sunset" is a more (earlier) family type in my opinion. Chuck G---
-
The first marble, not sure of with the (action) of the patch and the base color is odd also. The second marble i agree with the others, a (lazy cork). Chuck G---

A fairly nice group of more common family types. Most of what you show can be found. The patch color between the ribbons is a (wash-over) color from the ribbons. When it lies on a white opaque base the ribbon color fades out between the two. Chuck G---

Sherry, YES a Peltier "Sunset" as i would put it into this family type. Two ( family types) that are not highly sought after are the "Sunsets" and the four thin ribbon "Rainbos", (BUT) i can attest there are some in BOTH categories that are HTF, and slightly (different) in their composition. "Sunsets" can have some very odd and wild colors in them, some you see very little, while the "Rainbos" can have two three or more colors in the ribbon patterns. I can probably (guess) at where certain (patterns) may fall into the (time line), but hold this till more can be found. Chuck G---

Mo, YES i agree this example is one of the more (prettier) MCS early swirl, especially with lots of yellow on it. You might look (very close) cause (sometimes) they may contain av. Chuck G---

Sherry, a VERY nice group. These Akros family types are very sought after by collectors, and you may find some jaw dropping ones, i have before. Very nice. Chuck G---
-
X3 for me also. Chuck G---

A very nice group and in numbers they probably are MKs. The next one i may guess at would be Masters. Chuck G---

I lean heavy with Ron on these examples, they just DO NOT look right for Vitros. I remember when Jabo did do this type of marble some years back, as Ron and i have talked about it before. Chuck G---

Chad, this is one to watch as i will be very interested in what it may end up at. These are VVHTF to find anymore. These do not come up often for sale. Chuck G---
-
Tommy, (YES) that is what you said. This example is at the TOP of the VVVHTF ones to come up with. The bottom left one i got year ago and it came from Running Rabbit thru another dealer, yes it is (five) colors and another one at the top of the marble chain. (Separated) (FIVE) colors is VERY IMPORTANT, keep this in mind. Chuck G---

Just (updating) everyone to let them know that our spring April marble show is moving forward here in Decatur Illinois. So far as of yesterday around 25 rooms with attendees scheduled in. I anticipate many more but with the price of gas now, who knows. It will still be another good show and there will be (MANY MARBLES) to be seen and had. I am excited, get to see many moire of some GREAT friends in this hobby. Chuck G---

I have collected (MANY) hybrid "Pop Eyes" for years, and i do have my (opinions) on the hardest ones to find. Some may disagree, but (finding) an actual hybrid "Pop Eye" that is (SEPARATED) by contrasting colors that are (NOT) (wash over) colors id difficult. Five colors do (EXIST) in this family group of Akros. Most hybrids you will find (four) colors but the five colors are very difficult, and very few exist. I have searched for many many years because i am partial to these examples. I have posted this photo before and it is one that i consider the hardest to ever find, some may disagree. Chuck G---

I am (guessing) as it (looks) to me to have a white base, with black ribbons. It is Peltier in my book, but all the ribbons went to one side while the other half is white. This happens sometimes as they ran the ribbon family types. I would (maybe) put it into the (possible) "Panda" family type, even though some may throw it into the "Zebra family type. Chuck G---

Kinda agree with Ric, (Peltier) is looks like it to me. Chuck G---

Jeremy, let me add a little to this conversation, just to let others know what i have found. In the early years of Peltiers production, they were (probably) making the MCS swirls. MY (guess) is that they (possibly) started with (one) color then went to two and into the three color examples. Early runs of swirl types could have yielded many (unknown) family types that are hardly seen today. I have MANY that i question like you have. So how can we tell these really early combinations from one color to three colors that look to be another maker? Ron has some very good points to consider on this, (he knows). Chuck G---

I think Akro, but a (possible) family type in the "Ringer" category family. Chuck G---

Gotta go (Peltier) on this example, as i have marbles close to this that i put into the family type. If one can tell for sure the base glass color that may make it a tad bit rarer. Chuck G---
-
Ron is correct and i agree, an MK (error). Chuck G---

Bills, example is a (perfect) example of the Peltier "Copperhead". Chuck G---
