Sorry, all I could find is some pix of a full box, lots of pix of other No.0 boxes full of 100 clearies etc. but no empties !! Maybe if you get the box this will give you an idea on filling it ?? The top cover is a bit different, probably a different year, still a No. 0 box of 100 prizenames. I saved these pix from Mibbage's old sales site. I couldn't tell ya which box is older or more valuable ?? I'll keep digging !!

I see a left handed twist, here's a few normal right hand twist from the end view just like Chris's marble Right hand twist, righty tighty lefty loosey, my Fathers take on tightening & loosening bolts when I was young and stripped out the threads on several. Chris's left hand twist

A nice one for sure, I can see the almost transparent glass tracing the entire outside & also swirling within, you picked a winner this time !!

Nice Akro ashtrays William Score !! -
Most original poly bags have a pleat vertically down the center of the back like this bag of Vitro whities. I believe this bag belongs to Al of Oregon from right here on the forum. He'll probably post on this subject, he's the bag man !!

"Thank You" The better the pic quality & views the more accurate & quick the I.D. My pics need work too, an ongoing process !!

"Welcome to Marble Connection" Glad to have you, lots of marble & marble related knowledge & knowledgeable people here more than willing to share what they know, great to see a few pix right out of the gate, I'll give the I.D. on a couple & go from there. "Again, Welcome" I believe the two of these are "Peltier Rainbos" judging from just this one limited view ?? Generally it's a good idea to post no more than 3 marbles at a time with multiple views of each marble, i.e. top, bottom and a view of each side. A good measurement can also play a key part in the proper I.D. of certain marbles. If a measurement is given please try to use fractions of an inch i.e. 1/4, 3/4, 13/16ths etc. if not then decimals. This will all go to a much quicker, easier & more accurate I.D. "Thank You" Ah !! I almost forgot, whatever you do have fun !! Chad G.

Another no lightbox freehand attempt, sorry for all the reflections & blur, boy do I have a bunch of retakes. I don't even want to think about it.

Wasn't even looking for it, good call Mike

A par of Rainbo's that the ribbons of color cross all the way through, similar to an NLR but not !! Not rare but not common either, I only have a couple dozen of these. The first one on the left really has a "Rainbo" of colors in it.

I believe the actual marbles where kind of a combination, made using paper mache and the sap from the tree, color and a whole siew of other thing were added to make the different colors and the sparkly lutz effect, I'm not sure what they used as a color agent or lutz substitute but some of them are absolutely stunning. I'm still a bit in the dark on these as many others are, maybe this will reveal a bit more info for us ?? Hello Chris, The dirt in the glass looks like it happened when the glass was still hot during the manufacturing process, the pontil also has some dirt trapped in it. "Yes" it is an authentic Handmade 100 %, if that dirt was embedded while the glass was yet hot it will be nearly impossible to get out, but if it doesn't bother you no bigge. I have a few with dirt in them as well. I take it from the pix the marble looks to be between 3/4ths & 1" assuming the machine made marbles beside it are around 5/8ths ?? Besides the dirt it seems to be in great shape, no hits or fractures, a "Yellow Lattacinio" a good looking mib, at least I like it !! The yellow lattice threads are very apparent in this first pic. Looks like a Pelt Rainbo to me as well, the green base glass has me really leaning that way anyhow !! -
I'm a human just like you Dad & I'll prove it !! Soon you'll have a small place setting at the table & some tiny little kitty napkins !! I always wondered why they wanted up into the chair with me sooo bad !! Separation anxiety ?? or domination ?? I believe we all know who the real mastermind is !!

There will be borderline mibs also as with any manufacturer, I've been over & over this subject myself & still it's one of my sticking points. Steph is right on the money, I guess if it were all uniform, laid out & exacting there would be no reason for discussion. A most excellent post !!
