"Welcome to Marble Connection" The largest flame looking yellow, blue & white based one appears to be Veiligglas made in Amsterdam between 1949 & 1961, 2 Cats Eyes (both foreign) & the rest look like Vitro, maybe a Marble King or 2, nothing real valuable, maybe the Vitro Tiger Eye the (orange yellow, blue, white) next to the last picture $2.00 - $3.00 tops if it was wet mint, one of 3 or 4 veneered marbles you have. including 2 or 3 Phantom Conquerors, also made by Vitro and 1 Asian imperial. No real value either, maybe keep them for sentimental reasons. The only value I see would be the Veiligglas, still alot of damaged ones and I can't really tell the true condition from your pics. Even if these were all wet mint not much, maybe $10.00, $15.00 tops, if your lucky.

Looks to be an MCS mibber, never seen a Clear Dragon or regular opaque Dragon, Flaming or not with white in it ?? I've been told it's called a "Colorado" a HTF MCS not as common as most colors. A good find !!

Nice bunch of CAC's once you see a submarine you'll never forget it, a very spendy marble $1000.00 to $3000.00 on average for a good wet mint one with a nice electric color scheme. The first one I have posted went for $2400.00 2 years ago. I only wish it was mine, what a killer. Marbles like that are very far & few between. I hope these pics help a little, you may hit a real gold mine ???

A striped transparents are a transparent color based marble with stripes of opaque white or another opaque color at or near the surface "only" there are rare examples where the opaque color is found inside the marble making it a submarine. Slags are a single stream of transparent colored glass with opaque white swirled in and in most cases inside as well as on the outside of the marble. Peltier Grey Dragon vs. Peltier Orange Angel.
Chad G. replied to Peltier Mibber's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I would call the one in the picture just prior a rainbo, it has the grey base of a confederate rebel & a grey dragon but just a rainbo, I have several with this base in the cluster board pic I posted somewhere earlier yesterday. I wish I could tell ya different The one you have posted back 6 posts is a dead ringer for the pics of a grey dragon I have shown. A grey dragon is just a Rainbo but a hard to come by rainbo. I have only had 3 in many, many years. I might have had them before but they never had a name yet. like I said the one you have pictured 6 back is a dead ringer I believe the smaller of the two grey bases you have is a grey dragon. I posted your suspect pic below. A few more pics of yours I'm sure will show it to be a Grey Dragon. "YOUR PIC" "AAM PIC" "STOCK PIC" A little different shade & different lighting but I believe we have a winner !! In fact yours is the greyest of the entire bunch !! No new Angel color type but the good news is you appear to have a "Grey Dragon" in the first pic here mibber !! Same ribbons & almost exactly the same base as the AAM pic. The stock pic looks like it was taken under a standard light bulb, which gives off a yellow hue. The one you have in the first pic here is a Grey Dragon, I'm almost positive, could you "please" take a few more pics & views of the mib in question, just to make sure ?? -
!!!!!!!!!!, I'll be watching for a notification or Email alert, "Thanks for the heads up"

"Welcome to Marble Connection doc" CAC (Christensen Agate Company)never made a marble with a pontil. Hand made marbles have a pontil. CAC'S were all machine made, the fold or crease in your marble is common & happened sometime during production. Bruce is correct in saying the closest you'll get to the peach color in a CAC is a peach slag. Your marble is a common "clearie" more amber than peach, value next to nothing. 3/4 is big for a CAC marble, but they are out there. This first link is from AAM ( All About Marbles) & the second a video from Stephen Bahr (a member here) posted on YouTube along with several other marble I.D. vids he made should help you out on getting started on your way to Christensen agate & other marble identification, if you still have questions that's why were all here to learn & help each other out, "Again, Welcome, Have Fun & Good Luck" Chad G. LINK : https://www.allaboutmarbles.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27202 ANOTHER VIDEO LINK LINK :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8TZLjVzZ00 A handy hint for you, never use Ebay as a marble I.D. platform !! Agreed Asian Imperial I believe ??

The Pelt Banana Boat pics are from Zaboo's 2018 Ebay sales. I save all the abstract or outstanding pics I can, I believe I have around 200 folders with a few hundred pics in each, so thousands of pics, over 95% of which are of marbles. I use them as a resource almost every day. I could probably print out a book on marble Ebay sales, many older ones seldom if ever seen anymore. A lot of, "I wish" marbles !!

Peltier Grey Dragon vs. Peltier Orange Angel.
Chad G. replied to Peltier Mibber's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Muddy was only talked about during the angel part of the discussion I believe ?? not the dragon. "Grey Dragons are exactly what the name implies i.e. "an opaque grey base with orange or reddish orange ribbons" The ones I had were all "Rainbo's" no light passes through any marble considered opaque, regardless of base color or manufacturer, that's what opaque means. The Grey color can vary a bit but on an example that exemplifies a "Grey Dragon" the base is a concrete grey, not tan or yellow or translucent. Understanding we could go on forever as the bases and color shades on Peltier or for that matter any marble are endless, we are now in the realm of "Perspectives" I have simply stated the definition. The colors will vary from light grey to dark grey and everywhere in between. As an Akro collector once told me "look I have every color prizename ever made" , " Impossible" unless he was sitting at the end of the rollers and was in possession of every on that spilled off the end. The shades of color, variances and or combinations thereof are almost endless. Another pic from the Peltier marbles info site, the Dragon & the confederate Rainbo are side by side, we all know the base of a confederate rainbo is "Opaque Grey" the two bases match up almost exactly in these pics, the example I posted earlier is a little off grey but as said "shades of any color will vary a little" here's the pics, you can judge for yourself, these are the " Most widely accepted examples & colors" The light reflection plays a little off these but still grey. LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/copy-of-tracers BOTH HAVE AN OPAQUE GREY BASE & ARE POSTED AS SUCH, THE COLOR LIKENESS OF THE "OPAQUE GREY" BASES IS SELF EVIDENT. DEFINITION OF GREY, A VERY WIDE SPECTRUM, WE SHOULD BE ( IDEALY ) SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE HERE THE SHADES SHOWN IN THE GRAPH ARE ONLY A FEW OF THEM, I DIDN"T DEEM IT NESSESARY TO POST THEM ALL.THE DEFINITION DOES THAT FOR ME, JUST IN CASE THERE ARE ANY QUESTION AS TO THE COLOR GREY THIS SHOULD CLEAR THEM UP ( I HOPE ) ANOTHER PICTURE OF A GREY DRAGON, COURTESY OF THE AAM FORUM, NEARLY A DUPLICATE TO THE POSTED ONE ON THE PELT SITE, JUST A LITTLE DIFFERENT LIGHTING. Phew !! I'm glad we nipped that in the bud, I'm lookin for Bills pic of his angels. "Ah" your pic will do nicely Ron, couldn't find Bill's, as said I see more yellow than brown or muddy as you do. Pictures taken by Ron S. courtesy of AAM. Maybe the person that coined it "muddy base" was wearing sunglasses ?? -

I think maybe mibber mistook something along the way ?? I believe he had it I.D. as Vitro on AAM which is correct ( not a pelt not kokomo ) the ones I show displayed on the board are Kokomo. Agree also on the angels I've seen & had. The only grey ones I had were the Pelt Grey Dragon Rainbo's and a couple Juggernauts that I auctioned all in 09. The grey base on those things still sticks in my mind, same color as cured concrete. Very memorable just like the weird yellow brown translucent color of the angel base glass, something once you see you never forget, I think they called it a muddy base for no better description, maybe something that needs changed ?? to what I don't know, just translucent would be fine once you've seen some you could never mistake them for any other mib. -

A pretty safe bet on vitro, it's not a kokomo. -

Well said Ric, yes Kokomos are very hard to come by here, almost all I've seen look similar to pelt baseballs and glow like the sun. Narrow on one end and wide on the other, a few of the seedy, bubbly looking dark translucent based ones show every once in a while but most I've seen out here are in collections. Here's a pic of some glowers a friend of mine from Indiana has for sale on Ebay right now. I have maybe one seedy dark one somewhere around here somewhere. You probably know Jim he's sold on Ebay for a while and just recently started up again. if you would have asked me 15 or 20 years ago I would have said no way, those are just weird Pelt Rainbo's !! Structure !! not absolutely sure though, the glass flow does continue through and over the seams ?? Sorry not much left to pick, a rather poor looking specimen !! Not so well used & Heavily abused !!
