  1. The green one is a bit weak for a CAC-- imho. No ID from me on this one. The sunlight makes for a great image and the yellow color is deceiving. This one is an Akro slag imho and it should light up under UV quite nicely. If it does not--well feed me some Crow--it is springtime and Crow tastes the best in the spring--šŸ½ļø. Marbleā€”On!!

The first one is a pelt rainbo x2. Try to get an idea of where the cutlines are on these marbles and show them. The green one looks like a common unidentifiable WVS to me. Marble--On!!

I agree, keep it up with the good/better images. This one may light up under blacklight a bit. Some do more than others. Marble--On!!
  4. Hello Carowill, The third image shows a slightly out of round marble on the right and I suspect that it may be an experimental/dug Akro Agate. The one on the left has been showing up in my world the last few months from all over the world as far as purchases and trades go. I am stil baffled and would like to see some more input on that one. Marble--On!!
  5. Cancer is a BEAST, marble collecting will help the mind for sure and I speak from experience. Welcome back my friend. Show us what you have collected. Ric has ingrained my mind with the "whitest whites" as compared to other WVS marbles are more than likely Ravenswood. Ravenswood marbles are a great and rare find in my world. Keep on keepin on and of course--- Marble--On!!
  6. I know how marbles can get mixed up over the years but I still give some credence to those found in the same batch in a purchase from a non-collector. These are corkscrews that more than likely came in a 100 count box, yes one is a patch. I have seen this enough to call them. Sometimes a patch will show up in a box of corks. The patch looks like it does not have the same base but in hand it does. The light and lack of a corkscrew pattern determine what it will look like under hard lighting. Not all Akro patches were meant to be and this adds to the hard to ID part of some of the Akro patches. Some just did not turn into Corks. Marble on!!!
  7. A Coors porcelain marble holder---very cool! I think that you may have a mix of marbles but some of them could be Ravenswood. WVS ID is not my strongpoint. Marble--On!!
  8. "another one of those clear pelts" I agree, Marble--On!!
  9. This is a Peltier marble. (yes I did quote myself) Marble--On!!
  10. OK, Thanks all, I will classify these as Vacor de Mexico. The Imperials and other foreign made do not stand up imho with the colors involved with these. They are not from Europe, at least a far I as can tell comparing them to Whisplers. Thanks for all of the input and of course--- Marbleā€”On!!
  11. Well, then it is a mystery. Akro to me--- Marble--On!!
  12. Show us your best Carowill, take your time, do some cropping, and do this marble some justice. This may be a long and great thread that you started. Marble--On!!
  13. Here is the thing with bubbles, under hard light or flash they all show up and reveal as many more that there should be. Even marbles that look like they have none will show them under the right light. MK cats have bubbles---under the right light. Marble-On!!
  14. I am not one to buy marbles from an Antique store; they are usually in jars and set up for the buyer as a trap. I was out doing my thing today and I came back with these---and some other fine scores as well. This lot was layered out in a bag for all to see and the latest that I saw were some Champions and Horseshoe Vitro cats. So for $35 bucks I went for it. I gamble all of the time and these caught my eye. (yes $35 bucks is a gamble for me) The base glass is very light blue transparent and when it is backlit it looks to be transparent. There are a lot of colors in these and I thought that they may be Masters. Please give me your thoughts, they are all appreciated. Here is the thing, they are all over 7/8ā€ and just a hair under 1ā€. No folds or defects that I would associate with a foreign made marble are included, they feel and look like well cooked, well made, marbles. Thanks, and-- Marbleā€”On!!
  15. I think that this one is a Peltier marble. Get some better images/closeups of the seams/cutoff marks and save me from any abuse. My pelt hairs rose straight up with this one. Marble--On!!
  16. Mine too, Marble--On!!
  17. Get the magnifiers out and check for cutlines. Great cleary for sure! Marble--On!!
  18. I am a bit surprised that this thread got buried so far back considering the amount of questions regarding Master vs whatever. Master marketed with some of the best and most beautiful pouches and boxes ever made. Here is a Worldā€™s fair box as found. Letā€™s get some Masters posted and keep this thread going. Marbleā€”On!!
  19. I just love how "Marble" was crossed out and "Glass" was written over it. Master Glass used everything that they could to make a good run at it. Great stuff!
  20. Good call Fire, but---not all Silver Oxbloods glow. Marble--On!!
