Awesome! Happy B-day--it is great to share life with one that knows you. The more that you handle these the bigger your arms will get. Work out marbles for sure. The stands are also a great thing. Marble--On!!

Here is my opinion, The first images are classic MK girlscouts. Nice ones. The second set may be “newer run” MK girlscouts. Maybe a Vacor. The third set looks vintage. The colors are similar to Akro colors, I would not call it a Master Marble or an Akro though. Maybe a Vacor. The fourth set also looks vintage—no Idea on this one. Great color combos, great marbles. Well worth some pickin time. More opinions needed for sure. Thanks for sharing these. Marble—On!!!

It is just a great marble Mojo. Not a wirepull, not a Vacor. A swirl that rivals any that I have ever seen. At a hair or two over 5/8" it is just amazing. Vacor(edit thanks to Chad in the next post) did not make Atmospheres this size,or with this color combo. It sure reminds me of those baby blue or light blue Akro Popeyes that are not so common--not one of those either. The very best ???? swirl that I have ever seen. It sure looks machine made to me. I will be surprised to see anyone take a stab at ID. Lets try at least. Try to keep this one bumped up for awhile--it sure deserves it. I will help. Marble--On!!

OK Bill, I envision you buying an old rolltop desk with drawers that the owner could not open, which you did, finding these inside.--just dreaming--what is the scoop. That label is really cool--one of a kind for sure. I would love to hear the history behind the find, as would others--great stuff I am sure. Marble--On!!

Well-- pretty old. The Ancient Egyptians played with marbles. Just think--they may be Viking marbles--unreal!! The history of Europe is vast compared to we upstarts in the USA. I wish that we/us as Americans would appreciate it more and hold on to the past. I know that the Native Americans played with marbles as well as those south of the US. Great topic for sure! And get invloved with this post as well!! A really great post to be discussed for sure. Post on!!

Asian and Mexican marbles have been in the USA for 70 years and more--world-wide maybe longer. I hate to coin the term Vintage Asians--but here goes. Marble--On!!!

The images of 4, 5 and 6 bring me back to the first marbles that I ever purchased back in the late 80's to early 90's--thinking that they might be CAC Guinea's. Live and learn and I sure have done the learning, with much more to be learned and experienced to say the least. (thanks to all who have helped and those that continue to do so, RIP to the pioneers. I am sure that they would be proud to know what they have helped to achieve) I still have them by the way and have grown a new appreciation for them. Those types have been around awhile, the frits are newer and just as cool. Marble--On!! and collect what you like on as well!!!

Sure Chris that sounds fine. The shadows are getting longer and winter is coming. I will shoot for winter when time is at a stand-still. Marble--On!!

I will say this in response. Marbles that glow under UV are attracting more attention in the last few "covid years" than in the last twenty and I understand why. My six year old granddaughter really lights up when I can show her a marble or anything for that matter that glows under UV---she really loves collecting fireflies in a jar as I did as a kid and still do to this day. If folks want to collect things that glow--more power to them and I do not blame them. Akro ware that we have collected over the years always meant more to us when it lit up. Will I go after a marble that glows vs. one that does not—absolutely, I love that glow just like I loved Vaseline glass in the past (still do). A plain, or any marble that glows under uv light vs.one that does not is just worth more and is more collectable, they always have been. I just got these five in the mail because I know that my grandkids will eat them up--not literally I hope--lol. They actually hold light and glow in the dark--I may hold a few back for myself. Marble--On and glow on as well!!!

Well Brock--no response thus far--lets just call this one 1". I am not the best when it comes to WV swirls to be sure. I do not even know if Champion made a 1" marble, but I will call them like I see them. Lets bump this one up and get a response from a few others. It is worth a few more opinions for sure. Nice marble! Marble--On!!!
