  1. Rick is generally pretty honest on his dig finds. Can't imagine him putting in something that wasn't dug. You might email him and ask if there is a possibility it was somethign else.
  2. Great report and pics, as always. Nice touch with the Hall of Fame idea.
  3. Here's another pic of bird cage paperweight and marble that reside on the west coast with two different owners. They got together in 2008 for a reunion!
  4. Here's Craig's picture from May 2006. I sold the only one I had to him.
  5. That's great to hear and see. Kudos to Nancy for following up on that and thanks for sharing the pictures.
  6. The bottom two pics on that German website first page would pass for WV swirls.
  7. I pray all goes well. Infections can be scary (not to mention dog attacks).
  8. Here's a picture I took of the two different MK cat's when Smitty was at the Tacoma show in summer 2008. The real St. Mary's on the left and the 2000 year run on the right. If you didn't have one of each in hand, it might be tough but seeing them side-by-side makes it pretty easy.
  9. Looks like a neat one to me. The smaller pics have the orangeish cast but the larger ones show the red well.
  10. I'm sorry to hear that. I had heard that he was in ill health. He will be missed, especially by his family.
  11. The pink and peach colors are tough to tell in cat's-eyes (as well as slags) even if you have some side-by-side. Here's a pic of the Vitro (Anacortes) pink (left) and peach cat's-eyes for comparison.
  12. Haven't seen a box like that - especially the shape. Any idea on the maker? No hints on the box itself, I assume.
  13. Cool boxes - haven't seen the one with 3-way crosssthrus - just 'nornal' Japanese cat's. Neat Santa box, too.
  14. Pretty pastel colors! I personally like those better than the 'standard' colors...
  15. Here's a picture of the ashtray and a pot - neither one mine.
  16. Looks like a fun bunch of marbles to go through - might be some keepers in there...
  17. I think 70's is right, Don. I looked through my Vitro and Gladding-Vitro packaging and the G-V ones seems to be the closest match. Here's three bag pics that have some similar colorful ones.
  18. 19. I think David is right on. Here's one of the Alox mesh bags
