davesnothere
Its cool dull finish im assuming its a cane end with that purple patch? Im still learning dont know if it a swirl / patch?
Steph
I agree it's unusual. I'm not feeling Akro. Not a swirl to me. Closer to a patch. If it were a German version, I guess it might be "striped opaque." But I don't have a guess for maker.
Chad G.
Machine made, not a cane marble, not sure of manufacture but not seeing Akro, wish I could help ya out a bit more.

The deep extreme white is generally associated with “Batch Glass” or glass made from a recipe vs that from cullet glass. The electricity of the yellow is compounded by the deep white—it is a very nice yellow—very nice indeed. I propose that this is a dug CAC that has been fixed. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Martble—On!!

Ric
MK was my first thought for an American marble but it gives me a bit of a foreign vibe too.

Carowill
I could see the reason for CAC but at 1 inch, extremely unlikely.
Fire1981
I have to go with Vitro. The color combo seems to make sense to me. The lavender wash is where I’m coming from and the weird cutter pull in the last pic just has me on the Vitro Van 🔥 RAR
Steph
One more consideration is the context of where it was found -- in Canada, right?, and which marbles it was found with.

We are all still learning and this one has had plenty of input from a bunch of great marble folks. Thanks all!! This may just be "one of those" that defies a description or an ID. Thanks for posting it—this is what we all love. I just love this stuff!! I agree with Steph closer to a patch than a swirl. Marble—On!! 7 hours ago, Steph said: which marbles it was found with. Jeff54
Kind of looks like a verity of an China Imperial type of thing. Here's the same colors and pattern or style but better shape, and seller has mistaken it for a Veiligglas. It's in Germany eBay, Link here: Vintage Glasmurmel, Veiligglas, 4,5 cm, einnahtig, maschinenell hergestelltet | eBay
