I have had one at the birdfeeder this winter. A "Northern Flicker". I have been feeding birds since I first was married (a long time,45 years now). I have never had one at a feeder--ever. We've been feeding them since we were married 45 years ago too, Art. Still using the feeder my Uncle Buck made us for a wedding present.
