Ric
I'm no English major but I'm pretty sure it's Cat's Eye or Cat's Eyes and Peewee or Peewees. And it's a darn good thing that we don't have grammar and spelling police here! lol

akroorka
If you have never seen Elizabeth A. Kempski’s book, “ The World of Cat’s Eye Marbles”, this may be the time to check it out. She displays a bunch of different marbles with a variety of names and spellings. I know that she has posted here but it has been some time—maybe @Steph can pick her out for us. I do not think that there is a right or wrong way—just many ways. I always thought that Master Glass had the best—“Cat’s Eye” for a name in a header. Marble—On!! Ric
And cateyes isn't a word so . . . ? Al is correct according to Webster's but I'm going to use Cat's Eyes anyway, because I really don't care.

Steph
Back in the 1800's, it was peawee, which was "no larger than a good-sized marrowfat pea" I spread the love out between multiple variations of the cat eye name.
