@cheese Great story - sounds like Don, for sure. I had heard about the sulfides but had not seen hide-nor-hair of them until now. The fact that you have one in and one out of glass is pretty neat. Couple of nice Vitros there too - I'm really liking that Cosmic Rainbow.

I'll bet you're thinking of a "Sprite", which is yellow and white in a green transparent base, I think.

It's a Pelt Rainbo, but I don't think I see an opalescent base, which should show an orange glow when backlit not too brightly.

Nice finds, Melissa. Those baby blue ones are hard to find without fractures. -
More colors than you normally see on a Conqueror, which is why I think it might be a weird Tiger Eye.

The blue one might be Ravenswood, the other could be Heaton or maybe Alley, IMO.

It's a Vitro but not a Vitro Opal, IMO. From these pics, it looks a bit more like a Conqueror or Tiger Eye variant.
