  1. That's a very nice example - I like the unusual ones.
  2. I'll have to get you a few more pics of that one, Art - it's all Akro.
  3. I've seen AV in the black on these so I'd be sure to check for it.
  4. @davesnothere Cool marbles - very distinctive. I've always liked to collect different sizes of the "same" marble too. Nice set!
  5. A few patches just for fun . . .
  6. Welcome to the Marble Connection, Mia - nice marbles! 🙂
  7. It has to be Akro Friday somewhere . . . 🙂
  8. A few more "underwater marbles" destined for landscaping . . .
  9. I don't remember it - really great colors on that one!
  10. @cheese This is a great addition to the Vito thread, very cool - thanks for posting it!
  11. @cheese Great story - sounds like Don, for sure. I had heard about the sulfides but had not seen hide-nor-hair of them until now. The fact that you have one in and one out of glass is pretty neat. Couple of nice Vitros there too - I'm really liking that Cosmic Rainbow.
  12. A couple of interesting ones in this little group . . .
  13. I'll bet you're thinking of a "Sprite", which is yellow and white in a green transparent base, I think.
  14. It's a Pelt Rainbo, but I don't think I see an opalescent base, which should show an orange glow when backlit not too brightly.
  15. Nice finds, Melissa. Those baby blue ones are hard to find without fractures.
  16. More colors than you normally see on a Conqueror, which is why I think it might be a weird Tiger Eye.
  17. The blue one might be Ravenswood, the other could be Heaton or maybe Alley, IMO.
  18. It's a Vitro but not a Vitro Opal, IMO. From these pics, it looks a bit more like a Conqueror or Tiger Eye variant.
