  1. Saw this really cool marble game today at an antique mall. You have to roll marbles in order to get parts to build a car. From 1921. What do you guys think? EnjoyCraig
  2. I think I have a 13/16+. Ill check for you tonight
  3. Galen,I was down there maybe a year ago to see Michael at the museum and it wasn't quite the same so I think they decided to split ways. Micheal told me that he was looking for another space to properly show the marbles and the history. I'm sure it will be back open again.Craig
  4. Oh I know where that one came from. Great score! It's like a Guinea trapped inside of a cobra.
  5. Killer stuff. Your buddy has a great eye
  6. Great board and display. I like your ingenuity. Really great
  7. Stellar book with phenomenal pictures, a real tour de force on Peltier. Much needed information with pictures of hard to find example and rarities. I wouldn't be surprised if this sells out, I'd start the second printing now. 5 stars, thanks again!
  8. Does anyone know the production Years and relative amounts of the rare marble kings produced? I heard there was a book coming out. I know just from books and experience that watermelon, dragonfly and green hornet are the rarest obviously but Is that because we know those are rare or just because a lot have not shown up. A few years ago I know a bunch of watermelons popped up and drove the price down. Also, are the hybrids runs that were found in original bags? or were they all dug?? Lastly I heard that the very very earliest mk's were patch-ribbon-patch. Any credence to that? I know it's usually P-r-r-P.
  9. It was good, lots of new faces, many more people than last year. It had a great vibe and I'm happy the direction that the hobby is going

Great thread lets keep it going....
  14. I bet that is a wonderful example. The only one I had that was HG had a big chip out of the side of it ;( thanks for the info!
  15. Greg, you are very astute in your observations. The #3 (13/16), #2 (3/4") seem to be the hardest for me to find. When talking with Hansel a month back he told me sourcing of the #3 box was the hardest, perhaps they just didn't make as many of that size? Good call! Check out the row of electric yellow. That's what I'm missing.....
