  1. It does have an Akro feel to it. I'm not getting a corkscrew sense from it. Could be a patch. But you have it in hand. You're probably seeing more twist than I am.
  2. Yes. All Marble King. Do you mean Rainbow Red on the last one? It's not a classic Rainbow Red pattern, not the one I recognize anyway. I don't know if it has a special name. (See how the colored ribbons go around the middle in Jose's Rainbo Reds: https://marbleconnection.com/topic/24249-help-id-3/.) The top right (which I'm also loving) might have some name other than "Rainbow" ... but I'm not up on MK names for the ones which aren't your basic patch and ribbons.
  3. Is the jobber list from the same date? Here are pics .... This one makes me cry. I hope it doesn't take away too much from the whole document.
  4. Maybe a Vacor Dragon. https://www.billes-en-tete.com/detail.php?id=14
  5. Hi. My thought is Japanese on the smaller one. I haven't seen enough big ones to make an educated guess on those. Hopefully someone else can answer.

    Spiderman?

I don't think Vacor. Could be a double ingot. Are you able to follow a false seam all around the marble from where two marbles would have been fused together?
  7. I'm betting it's older than the bicentennials.
  8. I think that is a big chip sliced off. Not a pontil. Not a transitional. It's machine-made. I want it to be Ravenswood. I'm guessing it will get a Champion vote though.

    Bumble bee?

    (yes, bumble bee )

    Bumble bee?

I won't swear there aren't any truly black bumblebees, but what we casually call "black" is usually brown or purple.
  11. I was trying to be so careful. Please change "a great number of Akros still call these mossy marbles Aces" to "a great number of Akro collectors still call these mossy marbles Aces".
  12. Beth, Ron is the man when it comes to West Virginia swirls. Best in the world.
  13. When Akro made it, they called it a Moss Agate. Collectors have been known to call it an Ace.* I can't remember ever hearing of a "Sunset Ace". But it's a kinda cool name actually and I wouldn't be surprised to hear someone else say "Of course!". lol *The marble that Akro called an Ace was a completely different type, but a great number of Akros still call these mossy marbles Aces.
  14. I think WV swirl. Going with Alley.
  15. No idea! This is just a sympathy post.
  16. I am also leaning MK on top middle. Top left Master -- not sure if it has a name. Longer seam on top right suggests Akro. Bottom row: Vitro Tiger Eye on the right. Vitro on the middle -- not sure of name. Maybe Vitro for the left.
  17. They all look Master to me, except maybe the bottom right. Maybe Vitro on that one.
  18. I think it's a WV swirl. Wait for a second opinion.
  19. I'm not sure. Can we see more angles? (no more backlight needed.)
  20. Size? I don't know ... I'm stalling!
