  1. These are Edna's Vitro 8 fingers, including some opaque ones.
  2. When did the Akro sticker get placed there? Any idea? Was that from an antique store? What does the sticker inside say?
  3. I think they're calling this episode and the next one a TV movie. It's strange, but look at the supposed date for the movie at IMDB ... it says it aired last night.
  4. I thought I read that there was going to be a new series. Googling a little now I read that it's not certain. Last night on NCIS was the first half of what LOOKS like a spin-off pilot. To be continued next week If you didn't see it last night you can catch it online at cbs.com.
  5. Yes, yes, yes! Do the Scott Bakula happy dance!
  6. I need a solitaire set ..... someday. I had a beautiful resin (sp?) board once but sold it. Silly, silly me. I don't have much insight into what colors kids liked back when, but I guess they liked amber. It was made and sold!
  7. My first thought was Imperial (Asian). But if they were in an old lot then I'd wonder about Vitro also. I'm pretty sure I've seen some "8 fingers" with opaque bases. My memory on them isn't clear though. Anyone have pictures?
  8. Interesting, Robert. Thanks. I was unaware of Picasa. I'll have to try this out.
  9. Vitro boxes are almost as exciting as MFC boxes, they're so hard to find.
  10. Lovely ... brief historical note -- back when those were made pink was considered a masculine color

You make me want to try it ... but I only eat hotdogs every couple of years.
  12. Pretty. I should spend more time looking at the birds which pass this way.
  13. My standard answer to that question is in post #2 here: http://marbleconnection.com/topic/18257-could-someone-explain-the-fold-over-diaper-seam
  14. Yes cute! Seems quite the bargain .... and that was before I saw free shipping. How is this guy getting by?
  15. Marbles from Argentina Posted by Rick long long time ago
  16. Hansel posted a 1926 watch in the calendar thread http://marbleconnection.com/topic/18881-do-it-yourself-marble-calendar/?p=166428
  17. Galen is quite welcome to throw his two cents in. No one's perfect but he's knowledgeable. Galen, sorry, I'm not familiar with that process. Don't know if I've seen those pics. Not ringing a bell right now anyway.
  18. Cool. I don't know the bag. Are those transparent based marbles inside?
