Whatever it is, it must have taken a lot of time to make it! A keeper for conversations. Someone is bound to know what it is. Thanks for cracking it open for curiosity's sake!
Yes, will do, but for now with the caveat that I'm not 100% sure and saying to wait for more knowledgeable people to chime in. But, I think my husband and our friend maybe know more about marbles that they'd like to. LOL!
Nice! I didn't even notice it until the third round of looking through the bunch trying to figure out which one I wanted to find out about next. I guess that was because the swirls and turns were not as severe as the first. Thank you WVRons! Really appreciate your time.
So I found a marble that kind of resembles the tater bug that was in the same bunch. Could it be another tater bug? It is smaller and has just little bits of dark brown. The size is .60" which is in the range. Crossing my fingers. Thanks! (Sorry about posting so much. Got my booster and I don't have energy for much physical activity.) Btw, what makes a T. bug a T. bug? Thanks again!!!!
Just being hopeful again. Are these a couple of vintage WV swirl turkeys? The first one is brown and tan with a cream base (at least I think it is the base. Everything looks equal). The size is .62". (Alley?) The second one is a feathery swirl with a blue transparent base. It is .56". I know Pelts sometimes have feathery swirls, but not sure what else does. Maybe a CAC? Or, Champion? Thanks!
There's a nice mix of foreign and US marbles in the bunch, I see several patches that might be Akro, and a couple of possible Peltier Rainbos (or Marble King Rainbows). Always good to post a few from different angles to have people help with the identification. Maybe keep it down to four marbles for each post which makes it easier to manage as people look at them. I'm curious as to what you have there!
