  1. Pretty much, but still if ya like em ?? I have some of very little value that I really enjoy having.
  2. This one looks like a Chinese torch marble, take a regular flashlight to it & see if that snow looking stuff floating inside it glows after you turn off the light, not gonna change "my" I.D. , Just curious !!
  3. Great post & link Steph, I've used Joes site a million times & "still do" what a continuing asset to the marble community, wish I could thank him in person, I understand he was very friendly & a great person to be around.
  4. Thanks for reminding me I knew I was forgetting something.
  5. Hyaah, giddy up there not there... there c'mon now, lets have some order here
  6. A little over 25/32nds kinda distorted for a Pelt NLR but the biggest liberty I have
  7. I had to do a double take also !!
  8. I agree with Steph, the distinctive brownish black lines make these look Vitro to me also.
  9. A Peltier Blue Panther, usually with a very light amount of very fine aventurine, appreciation for the photo given to the "Peltier Marbles Information Site" Wish you had one William as I wish I did also, VVHTF I've never even seen one to my knowledge except in pictures. I think this one belongs to Sami Arim, at least it bears a close resemblance to his personal example of the one in his book ?? LINK :https://www.peltiermarbles.info/rare
  10. The way I look at it as far as any reputable long lasting marble manufacture is odds are "almost" every color combination or variance you could think of, mistake (so called "one offs) has been made. I stopped doubting anything to do with mibs a long time ago. Marbles are one of the oldest toys or games known to man, I don't believe most have any idea how far back they actually go.
  11. I know people have the misconception (as I did) that all pelt slags were feathered (gilled) as you say. but I have seen pics of some in boxes, supposedly, not backfilled that had no feathering ??
  12. Ghost is the word !! I've heard there is provenance from 1926 that Peltier did produce white slags as one of their more common onyx, I know, I know you couldn't prove the "common' thing to me judging by the number of them I've seen , two (2) total since the late 80's. I believe Ron S. has a good line on this subject and am sure he will have something to add to the discussion.

  14. Hmm !! I fully believe they did. I don't know what else to call this except maybe a pelt onyx (slag) ?? I'll add some more pix for ya as I find them.
  15. Found one "almost" like yours Tommy One more for good measure !!
  16. Hope a double is ok ?? Both mibs are Alley & the glass insulator they're sitting on was also made by Alley.
  17. FWIW stands for "For What It's Worth"
  18. Guess I can throw in one mib as a repeat !! I don't have pix of the other 2 individually like I do the the peppermint swirl.
  19. Here's my guess on 5 gal. $437.50 for 5 gallons, I know I cheated a little, Oop !!
  20. I used Pay Pal about 15 years ago for a while but prior to & since I use cashiers checks, a personal preference I guess ?? Although I have seen sellers that will accept nothing but Pay Pal. Most will accept money orders, cashiers checks or Pay Pal, some will even let you wire the money Western Union though I wouldn't personally recommend it, I've heard some nightmarish stories about identity theft etc. from this practice.
  21. Just for comparison a pic of some Peltier NLR Cub Scouts.
