  1. Wow Roby !! you must have hit the furnace honey hole ?? very nice marbles, thanks for posting the pics !! I don't think I've ever seen one like the last, purple w/ yellow striations running through it, not a very common combo for a furnace mib !!!
  2. The great hobby of marble collecting has been gifted me for just a little over half my life. So many good friends, people I've never met but share a common interest with. Like minded individuals w/ no interest but to be further educated in this endeavor. Collecting, sharing, many things far and beyond just adding another mib to the collection. When the glass takes the place of my friends it's time to quit and sell them. I love to collect but treasure the friends I've made while collecting. I felt I needed to share this as encouragement to any new collectors, that such a simple thing has brought to me far more than I ever could have dreamed. Thank you all my marble friends !! Chad G.
  3. Please do, I'm getting some next month, I never tire of them either a very beautiful marble indeed. Thanks Roby !! Chad

  8. The Alley Spruce I believe to be a very under rated mib, one of my first Alley's and if I seen another mint one I would buy it, and on and on, One of my very favorite marbles, a lot of good memories. Chad G.
  9. I just got some so I guess I can change this later, here they is.
  10. I looked here trying to find a Vacor or Mega that even come's close https://www.billes-en-tete.com/liste_billes.php?lang=en here and every where else I could for a Vacor look alike, couldn't find one. Chad G.
  11. Got em, my own pics will be posted soon !!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Just watched the Heaton dig video tonight, talk about a dream come true. I've found 1 or 2 marbles before, never like that, marble digging on steroids. You are a lucky man indeed, part of marble history, soon there will be nowhere to dig except old dumps. They made it illegal to dig or be on the old city dump property here because 1 or 2 people fell through and where hurt, that was years ago, couple of bottle diggers if I remember right. Old homesteads and outhouse sites are the only thing left if you can find them, and if the property owners will let you dig. Thank you for sharing your experience Stephen. What a thing to be there. Chad G.
  13. I used my people app. on outlook windows 10 to do this Bonnie, maybe you can do it from there if you have the app.. I copied your pic. put it into a folder, went to people, added a person, hit edit, hit add pic, cropped, clicked on save, complete, maybe you can snip, copy and crop from the one I did, or use the app. here on the forum with this one ???? " hope this helps you" I'll leave a couple of your flames here so you can give it a whirl, "Good luck" !!!
  14. " St Mary's " it took me a little bit of research but I found it !!! Thanks for the history Ron, information that I have to work for isn't soon forgotten.
  15. My Cambodian friend eats turtle, the shell is about all that's left so no not a food a most excellent and appropriately named new Heaton Good "Stuff" Oop's !! Guess I'm still a little hungry.
  16. Oh yeah !!! "Atta Girl" the ever popular "Alley Spruce" That's 2 for you !! SOLVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Man, a marble collector's dream, one of mine anyway. How lucky you all where to have such an opportunity !! Thanks ever so much Stephen for recording and preserving a good part of marble "History" And to everyone in the trenches "thanks" for the labor of love, marble collecting has been a very large part of my life and this video has been like added frosting on the cake Chad G.
  18. Lotsa diggin, as I see you did also, I believe we could dig forever, glad I took the time to look, lots still to learn. At least I'm not doing this Anymore. Time to let the new stuff sink in.
  19. Killer hybrid superman and the rainbow is better than anything I have, " great mibs Roby "
  20. Thanks for the pics Bonnie, great mibs. Beautiful Alley's my favorite flame marble, there are a very few Christensen flames I like but not near as much as I like Alley, the diversity in Alley's is astounding, as is evident by the menagerie of mibs presented here, still some yet to be uncovered somewhere I'm sure. Alley " my other favorite "
