  1. Scored 4 nice baby blue plates yesterday 😊...empty handed pertaining to marbles so was happy to see these guys!
  2. Nice find!! Really like the octagonals...I have a few places in my sights that I haven't been to yet that are within 60 miles or so from my home that I want to hit in the coming weeks. Hoping to find that largest one yet myself...only marbles I have seen were $14 for a baggie of 19 which I passed on.
  3. Best wishes, Gina ❤ enjoy your weekend, happy hunting and a swift recovery 😊
  4. I took Dominique and Gabrielle back down to Iowa too their "home farm" where they are resting in their grandparents (who our friends Rhonda and Art became known as) pet cemetery. The whole area is covered in orange lilies 😊...Brittney on the other hand never had a true place of origin other than the nursing home where she hung out until I brought her home so she stayed with me 😊
  5. Some old warriors enjoying retirement 😊
  6. My 3 critters....first picture is Whiskers (always have to have a cardboard box for him lol), second picture is Baby Girl...she's older, around 10 years. Whiskers is actually her son and he's 4 years. Third picture is Uno, a bulldog/hunting dog mix. She's 4 years old and a registered service animal for Patty. I had 3 other cats before these guys moved into my house 2 years ago. That would be the fourth picture, Dominique (white) and his sister Gabriel (black). I had them from 1996 until 2015 when they passed. My third kitty back then was Brittney, a miniature calico (sorry can't find a pic) who was a outdoor save when she was 3 months old in 2001. Lost her to age in 2017. Enjoyed the pet sharing you guys!

    All Vitro?

Nice history...my sister Nila Slaughter lived in Vienna with her family for years before retiring too Texas.
  8. What variety am I looking at, if that even applies? 3 pics with and without flash. The base glass is clear in hand. Thanks 😊 (I don't recall posting this one before? Couldn't find it so apologies if I did!)

    MEMORIES !

Wow, some coincidence indeed! Tony and his brother Michael were my best friends growing up. We lost his brother Michael too a mobile home fire in the early 90's....I was supposed to hang out with him partying that night then at the last minute chose to go on a hot date instead. Fate? I'm thankful but at the same time full of regret, could I have made a difference that night? I'll never know 😣

    MEMORIES !

Memories indeed...you just took me back to my teens when my buddy Tony Smith and I were at my house tinkering with our first homemade tattoo gun. It consisted of a guitar string, a lantern battery, ink pen barrel, a few other tiny miscellaneous parts, and a bottle of indigo ink. Our contraption actually worked and the results for me this (it's expanded under my skin some with age) not bad for do it yourselfers 🤪....never had a brother, I'm the only boy out of 4 kids. I've always thought about the what ifs and the crazy stuff we would have done, having a brother. I feel your loss, I have had my share from 2016-2018, my older sister, stepmother, mother, brother in law, wife and another brother in law, in that order. Miss them all terribly. All a person can do is forge forward and live for them. 🙏
  12. I'd like to wish you well with your health and your upcoming procedure...I was a caregiver (CNA) for almost 10 years and a caregiver at home from 2015-18 so I can feel what you have and are going to go through. You will break through 😊....as far as the folks here, just gotta love all the positives. Couldn't be a better group of people 👍
  13. Found these vintage billiards balls and rack this past weekend too (another one of my passions since I was a teenager). This particular set of miniatures would have been found in "men's parlors" during the very early 1900's. The rack I have is metal (not sure if it's original). I found a similar set a few months ago that I gifted my brother in law. His though, the balls weren't numbered or of good quality color and his rack was actually original wood that came with the set. Pretty cool 👍
  14. The neighbor's do benefit! We make tons of salsa in the fall, from mild to super hot, which is evident from the variety of peppers....there's always tons of peppers we just give too the neighbor's. We can't use everything that is grown, which is ok. It's just enjoyable!
  15. Found an awesome vintage trout basket for my gals fishing/tackle collection, also added to her animal collection with a nice Robin by Viking Glass 😊
  16. That was awesome too find a piece with the sticker! Which piece do you refer to as the bin planter? The green and white one or the set of white and orange ones?
  17. This is the backyard garden behind my old garage, along with my little squash bed and in the front right corner pumpkins...tons of fun 😊
  18. One of my favorite seasonal hobbies has been gardening. Never really got into it until I bought my home and property back in 2001. Figured I would share some pics 😊 This is garden #1 in the "middle" yard....along with my little watermelon patch. My grass clippings work great for retaining moisture and stopping most of the weeds 👍
  19. I did think Akro because of the twist but wasn't very confident, something kept telling me Vitro. Thanks Tommy 😊
  20. The teeny little dark specs are in the marble, almost thought some was dirt until it was in hand.
  21. I'm a little bit on the fence about this one...Vitro I think...
  22. Scored some more cool Akroware today 😊 A couple of really nice planters. Really neat that one is more opaque then the other.
