  1. This type are always a tuff one to ID-Slag or swirl??? I think that it is a WVS. That green(???) line that is invloved makes it interesting, almost like a green oxblood type thing. I have seen it in Pelts but this is not a Pelt imho I have seen this green line before(if it is green). The roll marks (indentations) knock the value down. I like this one and would keep it for sure--Value is very low imho. Nice images!! Marble--On!!
  2. The nice thing about orbs--you can only show one side and one side of yours is very nice. I would call this one an Alley Agate-- I do not try to bother other ID folks unless something special shows up--- Lets ask @cheese I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more about this one. Marble--On!!
  3. I looked and the box is marked 1995---hmmm? Marble--On!!
  4. Pick out the 3-4 color ones that you have and post them. Big is not always better--pick what have mulitple colors. Put a coin like a dime in the images for reference. Your first post includes three Oxbloods for sure. Marble--On!!
  5. Yep--these are always hard for me too. I used to blame Ravenswood for these but Alley Agate made a bunch of transparent swirls too. It is a WVS of some make or model--no Jabo here imho. Good luck with this one. Marble--On!!
  6. Nice Pelt traits with this one. The images are top notch--good job! Marble--On!!
  7. Not an Akro--hope this helps---- Marble--On!!
  8. Good luck my marble collecting friend!! Keep on keepin on!!
  9. Swirls they are my friend! Size always amatters with marbles ID's. I have to give an honest opinion here, none are ringing any Akro bells for me--maybe the first one--a tinkle. The last reminds me of some Heaton oxblood that I have seen. In my experience Heatons oxblood was usually included with a green color. The middle one--Alley Agate imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more--- Nice marbles!! Marble--On!!
  10. Images three and four---What is it??? All are nice images but three and four---Awesome!!! If I could say whoooo that is my reaction when I first saw them. Whooo is all that I can say--nuf said. Whoooo!!!! Marble--On!!
  11. Do not get me wrong--this post is very--well--considering--a tribute to Vets. This one has to end here because of the content involved. William and I have talked and we both agree. No further posts are needed or desired. Let’s let this one lay here and call it quits. I have a Vet as a Daughter--three Tours-- a brother who just died--three tours---what a drag and what a stress for Mother, Father and Brother/Sister in law amongst others. There are rewards in Victory--but many more sad stories that we cannot call here. I support all Vets--I am sure that we all do here. Let this one be the last post --please!! Marble--On!!
  12. Top notch images Melissa! I do not really know how you find such nice MK examples--just killer imho. Marble--On!!
  13. Of course we all here like a challenging ID. Bring them on—the images—I just love this stuff. We all love this stuff!! Marble—On!!
  14. Never ignore what Ron has/had to say. He was mental with all marbles---All marbles. Marble—On!!
  15. That black "horseshoe" is top notch. Marble--On!!
  16. This is a pretty common swirl—no maker from me. I appreciate all comments and hope to see some more. Nice clear images! Marble—On!!
  17. Nice images! I for one am not familiar with the "Black Cherry" name. I do not recognize Heaton here. The trouble with this one is that too many companies used this color combo, it is a swirl, it is a vintage one imho---hard to ID. Because of the transparent red—probably an Alley or a later champion. Just my opinion and I just suck at WVS ID---for the most part. Nice marble—better than most of this type. More opinions are needed here for sure. Marble—On!!
  18. Lets consider our old friend Ron here, I always will. Not a direct quote but he always said that Ravenswood had some of the brightest white batch glass (from a recipe--not cullet) of any maker. This white looks like "Batch glass" to me. I defer to @cheese and @Ric for a final evaluation here. Marble--On!!
  19. Lets get this right--no one here will be bored looking at glass--in any form. There may be a few marble "purists" in the world but we all have collected other things imho. Thanks for sharing one of your passions--luv it! Marble--On!!
  20. If you hang around long enough you will find that there are very few junk marbles. Some are way expensive and some are just collectable and cheap. There is actually a group of collectors that cherise beach washed marbles--based in Chicago of all places--- I appreciate the passion there. I wish that I could remember her name---not----oh well, she has posted here is all that I can say. Collect what you like and-- Marble--On!!
  21. Sorry Maycee, I should have extended a welcome to the Marble Connection, Also, I am refering to the upper right hand marble in your images--not the glower. Akro Agate did market the name "Jadite" in the glass ware that they produced. I do not recall seeing any reference to the marbles that they produced as "Jadite" however--I may be wrong and some help here may be needed. Thanks, and welcome once again. Marble--On!!
  22. Jadeite--well pretty close for sure. The glass maker Akro Agate did use the same glass recipes for their marbles and glass wear. In the marble world we would call this one a "Gamer" or a solid. It was more than likely part of a game such as "Chinese Checkers". Marble--On!!
  23. I looked long and hard at this one. When a consensus is not reached I defer to the damage that may be present. This one has some of the most wear that I have seen on a Jabo—it still shows the little white hit marks of the softer Jabo glass—but it stood up pretty well. I have seen plenty of Jabo “Classics” (made as a production for the masses from the factory) that look like this one. Jabo imho. Nice ask for sure! Marble—On!!
