  3. At first I tought that this one was an AI image--really I did--👍 Pelt did not cross the line at 1".(well maybe a hair over) This one is just a killer and I mean it "KILLER"--Vacor. These big ones do not show up very great on average. I would put this one on the top shelf. The white waves are ridiculous here. Thanks for sharing it! I just love it--nice images as well. Marble--On!!
  4. I like the rust spots here and how you show it as found. ( it can be cleaned very easily) This one sat at the bottom of a coffee can for awhile. I do not recognize this color combo however. Nice bright white—maybe a “batch glass white” A wvs imho. Nice images—Nice find! Marble—On!!

  12. Well, if it is an Atmosphere--and I agree here--it is a nice example of of how weak the colors may be. Nice find! Marble--On!!
  13. My wife and I collected "slag glass" and McCoy pottery together for many years. Auctions, flea markets, estate sales, yard sales--etc etc. Then one day at an antique mall in Oshkosh WI we found this book by the Hardy’s--What? They made marbles too?? This pushed the limit for me--then I found a book by Everit Grist--off we went. Of course we had friends that collected other things that thought that we were "nuts" about collecting marbles. I had a friend "gift me" a coffee can full of marbles from her ex. I dumped them out and said---oh no--These are too valuable for a gift. About $7,500 later she knew. This was about 30 years ago and they still hold their value. About forty books later--here I am. Then the internet changed it all. I still have the marbles that my mom gave me from her dad--one was beat up like Chads Akro slag ( nice one by the way)--mine was a Oxblood Eggyolk--just a killer old used up marble. Grandpa played marbles---no doubt. Marble--On!!
  14. A funny thing, as old as I am to this collecting thing--I can pick out a Vacor but a wvs just puts me back in my tracks. Swirls do "stuff like that" to me as well. Marble--On!!
  15. Wolf crossed the line today. I suggest banning him.

  19. X2--I love to look hard at game marbles. To get a proper ID on this one in a posting online like this?? Hard to tell. Put it in your pocket and take it to a show for a proper ID. Marble--On!!

  21. These are Vacor imho. Compare them to "Fairy" by Vacor and see what you think. Marble--On!!
  22. I agree, Hurricanes also show up as a "frosted type". Names are names but these would all be considered as Hurricanes imho. I do not remember any that had an iridescent finish. There may be some--I just have not seen any. Marble--On!!
  23. I agree with Vacor here. Marble--On!!
  24. I agree with Akro here. Marble--On!!
