  1. This is a very nice find. Original inserts and what looks to be original Prizenames. Yes, the red and cream colored ones are Prizenames. The original rules are a very, very hard find indeed. The Pouch is original as well. The box closure/clasp is not broken, a common thing is a broken clasp. Missing 5-- 9/16” marbles imho---usually Flinties but others were involved—The “Indian Blanket” marbles are a bonus and are the most valuable. This is just a great box of this size and well worth the effort. If you are turned off by the discoloration—I have a few tips to bring this back to life. The inserts are out of position, the pouch should be on the left, the four shooters in the middle, then the 25 marbles in the insert and on the right hand 5- 9/16” marbles imho of course. You can see the marble marks on the bottom of the box in the image with the hand. This is a great 150 box find and I will not be bidding. I build em, I do not buy them full like this. ( I am not the seller and do not know the seller and as far as I know I have never purchased from this seller) Sorry potential bidders, this one is out there now. Marble—On!!
  2. Lets see some potential marbles to be named---any type or make will do, they should be kinda findable imho. Marble Connection more than deserves a marble to be named here🌎. This could be a great thread. Lets pick the judges and get on with it, five should do. I nominate Steph---second? Show your "liver and onions" looking marbles here. Lets do this--- Marble--On!!
  3. This is a good example of collectors determining what is and what is not. Parrot collectors mainly look for full coverage with little or no white and the prices paid reflect that. All pricing aside, Leigh’s two posts had two marbles that were intended or manufactured as “Parrots”, both are very nice and there is no reason at all not to collect them as Parrots. A bunch of these together would be a beautiful sight to see. Some folks are fussy, some, like me are not but sometimes I am guilty of going with the flow---sometimes😁. Marble—On!!
  4. First of all, “Liver and Onions” sounds like a good name for an Alley Agate marble for some reason Second of all, it has been a while since I had liver and onions and I am getting a massive hankering for some. Back in the day we would have deep fried chicken livers on card night. It is hard to find any decent chicken livers anymore though. Venison liver, pork liver, beef liver, I was raised eating them all---Yum! Liver –On!!
  5. That one has great coverage for a biggie like that. Marble--On!!
  6. The one on the left is a hand-gathered machine made slag—“Transitional”. Over 100 years old perhaps. I do not know if they made these in the 1920's yet. It is hard to ID a maker with this one. MFC would be a good guess. Marble—On!!
  7. All three are nice marbles with another one pushing towards being a "Parrot". Poor mans "Parrot" maybe😁. I like it! Marble--On!!
  8. Chad nailed it. I agree with Fire---nice Vitro, it probably wanted to be a "Parrot"--too much white I think. Marble--On!!
  9. I will stick my neck out and call all three as Jabo. Marble—On!!
  10. I am with Gladys on this one. It looks Pelty to me too. Marble--On!!
  11. This one might be a Vacor “Firefighter”. Marble—On!!

    Weird

I have seen Rainbos with this bluish cast to the ribbons, the base with them was more opaque. Could it be a screwed up Pelt? Marble—On!!

    Never

There are corkscrews in this color combo. This one never made the grade imho. What is all of that flaky looking stuff is it subsurface? Marble—On!!
  14. Nice images and very nice colors on these Gladys. Marble--On!!
  15. This one looks like someone spilled the ink. Marble—On!!
  16. Vitro sounds good to me. Marble--On!!
  17. No names from me Fire. Are you sure that they are Vitro? Marble—On!!

    Slag ?

I think that it is a Vacor. “Enchanted Forest” was the closest that I could find. Here is another Vacor marketed under different names and in different countries/languages along with different runs and shades of color. “Darick the Wizard” is very close to yours. Here is a set of images from an Australian Ebay seller, with an Australian company marked on the header. They could have been sold in mixed nets in the USA. The pattern is Vacor imho. Do not swallow it Fire🚫. Marble—On!!
  20. I will say this Chad, It does look to be a hand gathered machine made marble and it was probably sold in a Gropper Boxed set. Pelt or CAC imho---good luck with that ID. They are all killers, Marble—On!!

    Vacor

Here is a net of Trolls next to a net of Henry Hobbit. Yours is a Troll Fire. The same but the green is darker in the Trolls. I do not have any older Mermaids to compare and they are quite different today. The Trolls sold lately are way different. Marble—On!!
  22. Fire has a good point. The way that the white is showing at the cutoffs makes me lean towards MK. More opinions are needed and welcomed. Nice marbles Gladys! Marble—On!!
  23. Hey Fire, I see packs of these on ebay once in awhile. I have never had one in hand. Baseball only as I recall. They look like “Rad Rollers”, probably made by the same company. Marble—On!!
  24. I have a saved image that I just found, here ya go! Marble—On!!
