  1. First one does look like Wedding Cake. 2nd looks like Vitro patch.
  2. Nice ad. I have not seen that logo in any of my saved pics of ads, boxes, etc.
  3. Here are possible "RL"'s from Steph's contemporary artists list (old one). Robert LaGrand Ray Laubs Ryan Lay Robert Lichtman Robert Livezey (Stardust Glass Studio)
  4. In the lower right of the marble in the top pic, it looks like an 'S' pattern so that would rule out corkscrew to me.
  5. They look like Champion New Old Fashions to me.
  6. Agree with Steph and 8-vane yellow one is foreign cat's-eyes type.
  7. Thank you very much for keeping this going and honoring Alan.
  8. Good info Ron - thank you. It was fun finding bags to bid on - much scarcer nowadays.
  9. For info, here are some pictures of my Playday and Playtime bags - some mesh, some poly.
  10. Yes, that is the one. Didier started it years ago and many of us contributed pictures to him for the site but he has a ton of Vacor himself. He is trying to find a Scorpion bag from Mega - the yellow header type from late 1990's. One of the few that has eluded him. If someone has one to sell, let me know.
  11. I got an email from Didier, in France, yesterday that his Vacor website is back up.
  12. Then there is this one from kokoken (2005) that has that Striped Transparent look and another from Jeff Hale from 2004. Also a pic from an eBay lot in 2009 that had questionable ones that sorta look like Chad's.
  13. I'll throw a few pics in. These are from a Morphy's auction back in March 2013.
  14. Whether it is Master or Akro, the red color looks to fit the oxblood look. I'd have it with my oxbloods.
  15. Nice to read old stories and have someone research current information. Thanks for posting it.
  16. If you can take some individual pics of each bag (close-ups)and post them here, we can give you a general idea. From the overall view, they appear to all be machine made marbles (meaning no old turn of the century German ones). The 3 labeled bags at the bottom are called fantasy bags (people made them up starting in mid-1990's - worth maybe $3 each. Other than that, more close-up pictures will be needed.
  17. Great information Chuck - thank you for sharing.
