  1. Here is Dani's picture from a few years ago.
  2. Caged style cat's-eye - probably foreign; 4 vane cat's-eye - may be US but a little wavy in the vanes; transparent swirl - may be a wirepull but hard to tell; 6-vane, 3-V foreign cat's-eye.
  3. I have several C.E. Bogard bags with black cat's-eyes. Here's one.
  4. Not Akro. Does not really look like oxblood. Looks like WV swirl but not sure who?
  5. That makes sense.
  6. My packaging comment referred to Peltier packaging. I have seen ones in Master packaging like the one shown.
  7. I have never seen any in packaging. I have seen black (or very dark purple) banana style cat's-eyes but not Peltier.
  8. Tank wash was term mainly used for Jabo marbles that were made when they used certain glass (& whatever else) to clean out the tanks before they did one of the special runs.
  9. Unfortunately when Champion sold off their stock of marbles, it included empty polybags and headers. People put the marbles into bags and stapled on the headers. Then, when "they" ran out of Champion marbles, they put a lot of other marbles into the bag. For example, the bottom two pictures have marbles in there that are not Champion. The top bag could very well be Champion marbles but the marble count is way off - 14 instead of 20. Off by one count is somewhat normal but not 6. So, your bags are probably "filled" bags. By the way, they do not really fit into the fantasy bag category because they are real Champion headers. That is why I used the term "filled". This also happened with some advertising bags that Champion made over the years.
  10. So sorry to hear about the passing of another marble enthusiast and your friend.

    Cork ?

It might be a Peltier Peerless Patch. On some the patch almost corks.
  13. "You" have got to start finding packaging with these marbles in it so we can start figuring out the origin of these unusual marbles that keep showing up over there.

    ID PLZ

With the orange-red color stripe, I'm getting the "Imperial" feel.
  15. The blue one has a corkscrew look but I don't think it is Akro.

    Fire away

No idea here. Some of those foreign types have not really been seen enough to have a clue.
  17. Newer Chinese handmade. They were used in the new "Akro" boxes made the group that purchased the Akro trademark.
  18. Agree and no idea on the righto ne.
  19. One in the middle looks like Vitro Victory.

    rainbo?

The only thing that I have heard is because they were found in the Champion Jr. bags by Peltier. Other than that....? It is confusing also to try and say which types fit so, I think, most collectors ignore the Champ Jr. name. Also, using the "Champ" name confuses ID's with Champion Agate Co.
