These four 5/8th ish marbles are probably as old as me at least, and they are eye catching pretty but I have no idea who made them. Obviously from the same batch of glass combination. Among my favorites in a recent purchase as far as eye appeal goes, value, I really don't care but would like to know who made them and if they have a name, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

So I won 8 lots on hibid at the end of last month. They finally arrived yesterday. Here are the auction pictures. Over 400 marbles and no damage was mentioned but for the Akro shooter. There were probably 100 that were chipped, fractured or had multiple pin pricks or were heavily played with. Terrible. Other lots were listed as having damage so I thought these should be a lot better. Of course some will get by the seller sometimes but my last experience with this seller was awesome. Oh well, I still think I got my moneys worth and there were a few goodies but nothing to jump up and down about. I am not going to complain to the seller. I just won't go back. Here are the survivors that are acceptable to me that have made it to thier final resting place with thier own kind. There are some I need to ID yet but most are safe and snug at home with thier kin. and these are not in the picture but are all Peltier Cats. I don't think they all qualify to be Bananas, but there are some in this lot of 50 I made up. ( Not the same as the Pelts in the top left corner ). Thanks for looking, it's always good to have more marbles to add to the collection.

Swirls are my favorites too when they look like that. Nice one. I have no sure idea who made it but it looks like some Ravenswood I have seen.

This marble ended up dead center in one of my Jabo misc 5/8th size better marble frames and after looking for it and found in that Riker Display, it looks quite at home. It is a little less shiny than the original image in post 1. Thanks all. I do think it came from the same run as those posted by Nantucketdink.

Now doesn't that look like a happy bunch of people? Marbles are FUN! Thanks for the post Stephen and those dollar chance prizes were absolutely over the top. -
Haha. I can't believe we both wrote that. Makes me feel better.

I don't think I would have guessed, and I mean guessed it was Vacor. Are those bubbles or teenie contact marks? Wish I could help but it's beyond me. OK I'll guess either Vitro or Peltier. Isn't there a cosmic rainbow that looks similar?

This may also be known as Red Beard I think. -
Just need confirmation on these two Mega Marbles

Thanks a lot . . . again! -
Out of my 3700 or so Vacor made marbles, I have only one of each of these kind. I think this might be a more recent 5/8 version of a Michelangelo with a more relaxed swirl. Am I correct? and this, I think it is a fairly scarce 5/8 Arctic Bear? Thank you kindly for your thoughts. Both are pretty neat marbles in nice condition.

Sorry Fire. I only have one of these. This came out of a recent assorted Hobby Lobby net bag. I'll watch for more. -

MORE FROM STEPHEN AND BOB BLOCK

I just watched that. Wow some of the marble values blew my mind. I was partial to the Green Fizz and the Berry Pink. Nice job Stephen and Bob. Keep em coming! I was there! -
I was just gifted one that appears to be very much like yours. I am sitting on calling mine a Vacor Scorpion for now or maybe it's a Black Panther. I am a bit unsure myself but they look very much alike. You can see it here. It is 1 3/8" approx.

Yes x2 but it is not your every day All Red. Very cool pole.

Stopped at our nearby Hobby Lobby yesterday and didn't buy em all but most. The truck comes every Tuesday and I'm sure I'm first in line. Well they ordered extra for me. I was pretty excited but upon opening all to sort almost every clear or transparent marble was . . . well, they looked very played with. They will go in a yard sale jar cheap. I did get a lot of my favorites but even though the money wasn't that much to spend I think I just got a fair deal out of it. My opinion is that they cleaned out some bins with shovels, netted them up and threw them all over the warehouse floor. The two tags I had were 50 ct 06 FEB 2025 and 25 ct 12 MAR 2025 and both had a copper seal at the base of the nets. I never saw that before. All my previous bags had silver crimped seals. Not all that excited. Just saying, if anyone else is finding these production / distribution bags and finding the same damage thing, please drop us a line. I might go back next week but only if I see a shooter I need in a bag and I will look it over through the net. I got more SEA TURTLE shooters yesterday than you 'll see in that movie Nemo.
