kbobam
Really like that outdoor shot, Winnie! The marbles are very bright and three dimensional. As much as I shoot outdoors, I don't think I've ever tried a black background. I'm wondering if the reason the photo looks so good is because the black is sucking up all the extra light that would otherwise be bouncing around all over the place. Like the way football players reduce glare with the black smears under their eyes. ( :
MarbleDawg86
Kbobam! I was just thinking about your beautiful mib pics this morning and how I've missed seeing them on here!
hdesousa
Hi Steph,we had no winter,no snow no frost, really nice weather and the spring feels almost like summer,it's incredible. Winnie, perhaps you're headed for another one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_European_heat_wave when the the European death toll was 70,000. kbobam
Hey, Dawg! Appreciate it. Been a little down in the dumps, but I'm starting to get a few ideas so maybe I'm coming out of it. Hope to shoot some new stuff soon.

Steph
I was thinking about leaving my comment as "!!!!" Then I saw the reference to the Dulite line. I thought that was only a 1930's name. Are those the big ones?

winnie
Sweet,it strikes me that your marble boxes look so beautiful, unplayed with, almost like new.
lstmmrbls
I find it very odd that those marbles are in a National Box?? I also notice some sort of liner in the bottom. is that a usual part of those boxes, or just some added cardboard for support?
Steph
That's an interesting point -- about the rainbos. How does this box compare to those containing NLR's? And is it believed that rainbos were never sold in a box of 100 shaped like that?

But why do you find it strange that these marbles are in a National Toy Marbles box?

migbar
No, not those specific boxes, but I'm not surprised to see any Peltier marbles labeled National.
