bumblebee
Here is my carte de visite of circus lady Ida Williams next to my Fisher Price Bert toy figure who has somehow miraculously stayed with me since 1975, surviving many moves and pets. Sadly, Ernie was disfigured by a corgi puppy in the 80s.
Steph
Hello, Bert, ol pal. Well, that's a potpourri all by itself. Does the marble dish have a story?

ann
Alan -- I'm glad I didn't have that marble to look at in the late '60s. I could look at it a bunch, now, though . . . Is that Harry Besset?

Yes, it's a "mush pot" made by my 8-yo. She was happy to see me using it.

bumblebee
Bought these NIB at an estate sale today. The Rock Flowers are from early 70s and come with a 45 rpm record. Tuesday Taylor is around 1977. Not pictured: a large, somewhat disturbing box of naked 12" male dolls.
Steph
LOVE! LOL @ the missing dolls. My baby brother had an anatomically correct boy doll when he was a tot in the mid 70's.
ManofKent
Came across this Pressman puzzle game at a reasonable price and liked the graphics: I'm guessing the marbles are probably Alley or Marble King depending on age.
Steph
That's adorable. And new to me. If you see a swirl structure in the marbles, then I'd agree Alley. That's a beauty.

The puzzle has the original solution on a printed slip too.

bumblebee
Are those "Nosco" cracker jack guys? I have several of the flat animal ones that have a sort of Art Deco look to them. Here are what in the early 70s we called "little rubber animals". They are 1/2" and there were about 100 different ones. They were sold for $0.05 or $0.10 each from clear bins. I later learned they were made by Schleich which still makes plastic animal figures today.
