kbobam
I hope there isn't some new rule I don't know about that you can't post to this topic in the second half of the month! Or did everyone just run out of whites? ( :
Steph
Neato. Is that an Akro?
kbobam
If I'm remembering correctly, this is a Chinese corkscrew approach. It and several other marbles that came with it seem to have what I think you serious people would call a 'single pontil'.

disco005
Dang, very hard to photograph, apparently I need to get an actual camera to take decent photos of clear based white marbles. I think this is a Pelt, very bubbley base and has the Pelt ribbon pattern, with opalescence in the ribbon, tried to capture it....
Steph
Pelt sounds right to me! Mmmmmm, bubbles.

disco005
Maybe a color combination? Or a specific size maybe, anything over 3/4" ?
kbobam
These sound like good ideas, but could you maybe include 3/4? Otherwise a lot of people with favorite JABOs would be left out. On the other hand, there's certainly something to be said for 'limiting' a category to keep it more distinct and precise, so of course whatever most people would enjoy is more than cool! Jess, your recent photos have been terrific. You're obviously doing all the important things exceptionally well, and your overall results are much better than most people get with 'actual' cameras. Although you certainly deserve one if you're so-inclined! ( :
disco005
Wow, thank you for those kind words Bob much appreciated. and you're right about including 3/4" if that were to be what everyone decides on.
Ric
I chose a few months ago. Someone needs to step up and make a decision. No one will fault you for it. It's a short month, and if we require some sort of consensus this thread is dead. Post one up and stake your claim!
