Vacor Serpents. In your top right view, check out how the one yellow ribbon and one red ribbon meet at a tiny cutline. The two ribbons meeting at the small cutline are a telltale sign that we have a Vacor rather than a Pelt.

Hi again. That looks like a "West Virginia Swirl". About 10 companies in West Virginia made swirls from the 30's through the 50's.

Hi Nancy, If Alley I think the family name is West Virginian. That base looks very solid. I'm not not sure if it's Alley. Wait for a 2nd opinion!

Interesting. Can we have pictures in different lighting? Is it a swirl? It mostly looks like a swirl, but I'm not seeing the ribbon well.

More views in different lighting might help someone. For now I'm seeing "transparent swirl" -- transparent version of West Virginia swirl. And pretty much all mine go together and I don't worry about who made them. When I see horsehair oxblood, I think of Alley or Champion, but I don't know what the latest word is on that subject.

The turkey head has a ribbon which makes a bit of a loop. It's not so much of a "fold" as your marble is.

I'm leaning Vacor on the big one. Not really getting a handle on the one you took individual shots of. I don't recognize it as older, so my default answer would be newer ... but basically I'm not getting a good feel for the structure.
