    Poop Poop

They beat the Pack in our season opener! THAT is embarrassing.
  2. Well, hello! Welcome back! And congratulations!
  3. I have some Jabo Last Dance which look similar, but they're white/brown/green swirled in clear. So close and yet so far.
  4. Brown and white-ish, swirled in a green base. More distinctive than I realized at first glance. This ought to be gettable.
  5. A thought on the Honey Onyx. There are some nice and uncommon Pelts out there which are prettier than the Honey Onyx, but which get looks of disapproval because they aren't that one particular marble that has that particular name Honey Onyx. I don't feel qualified to judge a Honey Onyx. Just saying that your marble is at least as pretty as a Honey Onyx, whatever it turns out to be.

    Time to Fight

Great news to wake up to.
  7. I enjoyed a phase of hunting for Bakelite. I still am fascinated by it. No marbles!
  8. The primary colors for light are different from the primary colors for pigments. For the colored lights that you see coming from your TV screen or computer monitor, the primary colors are red, green, blue. I wonder if that's where the notion of a fourth primary color came in. But they're two separate things. Three primary colors for pigments. Three primary colors for light. Not a fourth primary color.
  9. Yeah, that would make my heart pitterpat.
  10. Maybe Vitro? Maybe I should be more confident, but something is making me hold back. Possibly just too late at night. But at least I can bump the thread.
  11. I'm sticking with Rooster. To me the white looks swirled. Not Peltier-like ribboning. That's all I got. I'll just spectate from here.
  12. Would be an interesting one to hold in hand, to see if one could trace a double ingot joining line around the whole marble. And to see if one could identify definite pelt-like ribbon combinations, preferably two complete pelt-like ribbon combinations of course.
  13. The structure of the marble and the texture of the white in the first marble say Rooster to me also.

    Reopened the Vitro thread.

Good answer, Rick! We figured you were likely just having a bad day.

    Vitro

It all seemed pretty on topic to me, since what we have here is a marble with traits of both the Master Tiger Eye and the Vitro Tri-Lite, so rolling out examples of each for discussion is what we hope people can do.
  17. This is one of my favorite topics. Here's some Master advertising from different decades with a variety of names. These two are scanned from American Machine-Made Marbles. I have "1951 or later" on the first and "1963 or later" on the second. I get pretty big images by clicking three times.
  18. Vacor seems right for that size. Not aware of anything else it could be. I don't see it on Billes-en-Tete, but I suppose it's possible that there are varieties which didn't make it to Billes yet. Or how big do those Chinese ones get which look like Vacors?
  19. Sweet box. Yes, it certainly makes sense for a Cairo company to go with an Egyptian theme.
  20. Here's an eye candy dish I posted in another thread in 2020. A lot of nonmarbular stuff in there.
  21. With so many of this unusual marble, I can't help wondering what other marbles came with them.
