  1. Yes, I thought circus marbles are from Germany, similar to German slags. That one is a great color combo.
  2. Obviously we can’t know someone with zero feedback but you can adjust your preferences and ban bidders with zero feedback. Unfair to a newcomer but it can be done.
  3. Couple of negative effects are less imagination and creativity. Some other modern elements may have replaced these effects though.
  4. Can’t elaborate on Brazil German connection but you are right on green dyed agates being harder to find than blue.
  5. Some extremely nice antique German handmades in there.
  6. Polishing would erase the cut line and would be a bad idea for this sort of marble but it is totally possible if there was nothing to lose to begin with.
  7. Cyclones I have seen usually have a single cut line. I actually do not remember seeing any with two cut lines. They are also most of the time small in size although I have seen up to 23/32”.
  8. The only way to identify as a Christensen agate cyclone is to locate a cut line on the clear glass. A loupe will help you locate it.
  9. All seem to be vintage vitro agate
  10. Killer example. Is the base transparent green?

  12. I got the same message regarding the size. So I couldn’t upload my video.
  13. I took a short video but was too large to upload. I’ll try to take few nice pictures in the coming days. I am very curious about this mystery marble also.
  14. I have one that I thought was German circus is very similar to this in colors but I am not 100% sure. Mine has a handgathered 9 and tail, loaded with very fine silver and green aventurine in transparent green ribbons at both poles and has the thick egg yolk properties on yellow ribbons.
  15. Bob Block’s price guide has to be the only one regarding values but you need to adjust for inflation. It breaks down to size and condition very methodically.
  16. Me and Mike Johnson checking in Tuesday afternoon. Just so everyone knows I’ll be setting up for picture taking sessions for the Christensen Agate book we just started working. If anyone wants to share any high end Christensen Agate marbles make sure to let me know for a setup.
  17. Rare box with early gorgeous Peltiers. Never saw it before.
  18. Welcome aboard crashbelt. Over the years I have become a board collector myself while displaying my handmade marbles, so I am very interested seeing some rarer items out of your collection when you get a chance. I do have a large 24 hole board as well as a small 8 hole board. Have you ever seen a 6 hole board that would hold 1” marbles? Best, Sami
  19. Thank you all from me too. Great to know it is in good hands.
  20. Extra amount of air pops might be one of the reasons why Peltier didn’t produce too many Cows and that is why they are harder to find. I personally didn’t think cows have more airpops than other Peltier marbles but I didn’t see everything. Yours is the first bifurcated tiger/cow I have seen. Nice marble.
  21. Just checking to see if we can post.
