  1. Hi Everyone, I have three marbles that are probably all the same maker. I'm thinking Jabo, but they don't have all the dings that Jabos tend to have. They aren't UV reactive though they do have a slight orange glow when backlit. There are some clear spots that allow you to see into the middle of the marble. There is also a bluish color that "pops out" occasionally from somewhere. There is a light brown and a dark brown and a translucent white (and maybe a little blue?) that swirls with clear glass. The size of all three is .60". Thanks for your help!
  2. I Agree. Some of my beaters are the most interesting marbles. Most of the marbles that I post are so ordinary to everyone else, but I just post them anyway because it makes me feel like Iโ€™m part of the marble community. Thanks for the encouragement Akroorka!
  3. Reminds me of the time I made a best offer, and I must have offended the seller because he came back with a counter offer in the thousands. I personally think he could have just not answered me. I guess I didn't know what I was looking at. And, I honestly didn't mean to offend anyone. Oh well. ๐Ÿฅด
  4. I never realized how hard it is to find a true peewee, at least in all my few years of collecting and in the places that I've looked, now that I know that they have be to under a half inch.
  5. Wow! What a score! That one would be on my coffee table. I love that game! I always look for that game on the tables when we go to eat at a Cracker Barrel! LOL!
  6. I wish I had a "she-shed" so that I could create a set up like yours!!!
  7. I don't even remember which marbles these are without the black light, but I thought that these could belong to Frankenstein.
  8. Yay! Hawkeye! I've bought many marbles from you! Love every single one of them. Still have them all and I appreciate still, all the passion that you share as you sell. Haven't been able to buy many lately, but I'm always looking and am so happy to see that your auctions are going well! I love the names that you come up with. I know that there are a couple of schools of thought on naming marbles. I like that you are making a distinction between the established names and the names that you create. For me, that's the main thing, that everyone knows the difference. IMO. Looking forward to your posts! Best wishes!
  9. WVRons is opening a museum?!? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Don't we all wish!!

  13. I know just how you feel about being OCD. When it comes to organizing, everything has to be just right for me. That is why my WV swirls sitting in a box are driving me BONKERS!! It's makes be feel like a persian cat walking on a wool rug in zero percent humidity!
  14. This novice agrees with Navarre. If it is, WOW!!!!! LOVE THE YELLOW!!! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SWIRL TOO!!!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  16. Thanks Chad for the heads up! Just watched the video. I can listen to Stephen and Ron speak all day. So interesting, especially when they get into the history of it all!!
