  1. These are both Akro. The one on the left "looks" like an Akro corkscrew and the one on the right is an Akro patch. The one below also appears to be an Akro corkscrew. I'm leaning Alley on the rest you have posted.
  2. I'm sure mine is gonna need a definite resurrection, it's been years. My Father passed in 04 about the time it went in w box , he made it years and years prior to that so maybe fossilized by now !!
  3. I had to bury the wrist rocket my dad made for me, the temptation in my childlike mind was (is) too overwhelming ....
  4. ... I probably shouldn't have used a slingshot on all the mibs Gramps gave me when I was a kid !!
  5. Alright, cool !! Looks like my wall, a man after my own heart.
  6. I know I've posted pix of this type before but I really like them, I'm in the process of taking pix of the transparent green base type, so hopefully soon to post. An opaque base "Alley Coral" swirl.
  7. They look Alley to me also in just this one shot, if you have a "carnival" you have a very hard to find Alley. Here are a few pix of some "Alley Carnivals" for you to gander at. These are Bill MCcaleb's (mibcapper) marbles, a long time supporting member of this board, "Thanks" is given to Bill for these pix.
  8. "Welcome to Marble Connection" Great to see yet another generation of collectors. You'll find Pokémon marble collectors here and I'm sure just about every kind of marble and glass related thing possible. A great bunch of people here more than willing to share what they have and know about the great hobby of marble collecting, again "Welcome Cole" -Chad
  9. Some very nice clean little gems, wish I had a solitaire board full of those !!
  10. I just noticed the 3 color Pull, yeah buddy !!
  11. Thanks for posting some individual pix of the opaque Veiligglas swirls you scored William. Not easy to get ahold of over here, pus yours look to be in very nice shape for traveling halfway around the world to get here. Nice
  12. All beauties, close but still not a clue ??
  13. A Veiligglas swirl, not a stacked flame pattern but still I like it. One of my better free hand pix, no blur unless my glasses need to be upped again ?? I don't even want to think about all the retakes I have to do !!
  14. You have a good head start on another board Brother, over half way there
  15. The big ones are just below the .50 (1/2") mark and the others are like Joshes' tiny between 3/8ths and a half inch, not sure of manufacture, kind of a mish mash I guess ??
  16. The great "marble giveaway" Looks like I missed the bus "again" ....
  17. ..... Yeah !! I didn't recognize ya and thought we had a new person, Hmm, maybe we do, an imposter perhaps ?? ....
  18. "Happy Akro Friday" The "Logo Stamp" and place of manufacture on the bottom of a larger piece of Akroware, a so named "Dart Vase" Named for the dart like pointed marks streaming down from the top of the vase. There are different numbers of "Darts" that appear on different pieces. Here are a few pieces from Akro tea sets w, differing numbers of the "darts" on them. These next two pictured considerably smaller than the above w, the larger dark blue one being around 2 & 5/8ths" tall and the smaller being aroun1 & 3/8ths" tall. The lighter turquoise one is 2 & 3/8ths, I measured all w/o the lids on. They all have a little different lid that goes w, each too, guess I'm gonna have to get all the different pieces together I have and look at some pix of sets to get the correct lid on the right piece. I've just been going w, whatever fit the best which I know isn't right.
