There we go, I started one off in the morning, not saying we'll all stick to Tuesday but I'll give it a shot. A Peltier NLR Ruby Bee ( must have av. in the red) to be considered a Ruby Bee, otherwise it's a Red Bee

Somewhere along the line Oop !!............................................. Ah well it was worth a try !! Might as well let er Rip at this rate

I know !! another W.Va. mib but another good discussion point, I'll try and stick to Monday but if I keep posting these new queries so late ?? Anyhow I'll just keep it to one mib (maybe). Two different views of the same mib under different lighting, a "Marble King Blended spiderman" I'll try and post these "Daily's" in the morning from now on.

Mostly black with some silver "no blue", black being more common in Alley other than green. The other side of the same mib, the av. gets so thick it's ridiculous !! Still one of my favorites, Why do I keep saying that ?? All mibs are my favorites !! Sorry for the blur on this one, another freehand attempt.

Ahh!!! That's what I'm "talkin bout" 9:00 and a roaring 68 deg. Temp went down 43 degrees in 4 hours, my brain was cookin, man what scorcher, hopefully not a forbearer of things to come ?? Suweeet relief !!

I was a Machinist Mate in the Navy, worked in a 125 deg. nuclear engine room (when it was ventilated) so was a fully trained fireman when I was 17, well acquainted with heat, 39 years ago when I was a kid. The only other fire experience was slash burning, putting out the burn, digging fire trails & catching the fires when they jumped the lines, mop up etc.. so yes backbreaking work but when your young and full of vinegar !!"I been prayin & doin the rain dance, supposed to get the onshore flow of cool 85 deg. wind going tonight so a welcome breeze, 4th of July comin up and all those fireworks doesn't bode well for firefighters. One of 2 things when I was a kid, join the Navy or be a jumper, So I guess I got a bit of both ??

My condolences to her family & everyone who knew her. -
Definitely not used to this. I live in the Pacific Northwest because I like the cooler temps and yes !! the rain. At only 48 miles from the west coast I never thought I'd see temps over 110 degrees but at 112 yesterday and a forecasted 114 today my AC is and has been on and still average 85 in the house in a cloud of air that's bee circulated and recircuited through the house. A big break on the way tonight, maybe down to 70 tonight (I hope) that's almost a 45 degree drop

-
Yes, 100%, see the sparkles mixed with the green, definite av.
-
'yes" looks like av. for sure on both !!

The marble has been spot buffed & or polished with residual damage, looks like they had to stop or wipe out the marble completely

This is probably the end you're thinking of ?? It looks like what's left of a ground or faceted pontil after polishing, very shiny clean and smooth around the pontil, I can see your reflection on the left. Sure wish I had it in my hands I could tell ya for sure in one second what if anything has been done to it. Look for some tool marks somewhere on the rest of the surface, if you can't find any going round & round at all & the surface is perfectly smooth I would say polished for sure. I'm somewhat baffled, it appears to be an original surface on the right hand side ?? Also clean around the pontils like it was hand buffed, but only at the pontils, the rest of the surface appears cloudy, looks like pocket wear??

Looks polished with remnants of pontils, the rets of the surface of the marble if polished is most likely very smooth, clean with no residual tool marks. The yellow latt, looks like it hasn't been touched, very good shape.
