  1. A few stray Marble King & a Vitro or 2 & at least 1 Akro, but over half are Pelts, you're getting there Charles, nice mibs
  2. That pinch of oxblood is killer VVHTF on that mib indeed !! On a MCS every once in a while but that's over the top, I agree with Bo, love it !! Mmm, Mm ... Yesir !!
  3. "Welcome Back Bonnie" Yes of course we missed you, so "Good" to hear from you & that you are ok & getting better. Look forward to some new discussions and completing some old ones as well. I just had a bit of "Marble Therapy" on my feet, picking up marbles with my toes is prescribed therapy for "planters Fasciitis" This is really the paper my Dr. gave me, I couldn't believe it !! Oh !! where to start ?? Hope ya get a chuckle out of this Bonnie, I sure did !!
  4. Yes the DR. said to wait because I may be in permanent or worse pain after the operation, just supposing things do go awry a little. Back surgery is a bit different, they want to put rods through 5 of the vertebrae in my lower back, at least partially fusing them, I really only went so far into the discussion. I have friends that wonder why they didn't get it sooner but I have a few that can barely walk, so I'm depending on the LORD to let me know "if" & "when" hopefully never !! Guess there are risks with any surgery, that's why you sign a waiver before hand, not for you but so you can't sue them if anything unforeseen should happen. Your insurance will cover you but $$ can't make you walk again. My hopes are high, everything has stopped progression for over 12 years now, so permanently I hope !!
  5. Hmm !! Looks like one of the unidentified foreign single sided patches like the ones Joep has ?? I'm at a loss !!
  6. The "Bionic Man" !! No pins yet but they want to put rods in my back, many different opinions from every Doc I talk to. Maybe $$ is the driving force ?? The Dr. I trust said to wit till the pain was too much then get the surgery, makes me a little Leary but at least I have a choice.
  7. I just meant "nearly made 1 inch" it's still a Berry pink.
  8. There is a dark red translucent almost opaque red one called a jewel that I don't have one of, hoping to score one soon but VHTF. Both pics from the "Peltier Marbles info site" & yes I'm drooling just looking at them, Peltaliciouse !!! LINK : https://www.peltiermarbles.info/
  9. Some pics of a few of the trans, red based Pelts Peltier NLR Cherry Bomb Ruby Slipper Following Pics courtesy of the Peltier Marbles info site.
  10. Not mine but a killer transparent, is this is what you meant by naked ?? 127/128ths, nearly made it !!
  11. Yes !! Right on the money !! Volcano is much more common from what I gather ?? Never the less, these are now all buried under a myriad of feet of dirt & pavement or concrete, probably never to be seen again, lucky to have been able to dig them at all, my gratitude goes to all the diggers & especially the land owners for giving the go ahead to dig before they were all covered forever. I know I appreciate the people I got some from & the opportunity to own a part of American History !! Heaton Black Cherries Heaton Volcano
  12. You're welcome Gladys, all mine have at least some damage as well, I keep them all.
  13. All 4 just CAC swirls, no names as of yet !!
  14. Yes Ron I see it also, looks like a Heaton Volcano in the top pic of 6, 3rd in from left to right
  15. From your first pic, top row third from left to right, The Heaton Volcano
  16. A late start, missed the big countdown but "HAPPY MARBLE KING MONDAY" Sorry for the blur 🥺 !!
  17. "Peltier Ruby Slipper" Almost always a smaller size & nearly always has the bubble filled base, dimples and a blowout or two, a wet mint one without defect is VHTF ( Very Hard to Find )
  18. It's almost time !! The Marble King countdown has begun. A little over 3 & 1/2 Hrs. to go 🕣
  19. Unmistakably Master, classic pattern & colors, less is more !! I use rubber "O" rings for stands as well, they stay put & there's never any scratching or rolling off the stand.
