Thanks for the pics Bonnie, great mibs. Beautiful Alley's my favorite flame marble, there are a very few Christensen flames I like but not near as much as I like Alley, the diversity in Alley's is astounding, as is evident by the menagerie of mibs presented here, still some yet to be uncovered somewhere I'm sure. Alley " my other favorite "

Gen. Grant played this game so much the board later adopted his name, General Grant board. The boards where around way before he was and still today they have his name. A most memorable epitaph.

I'm almost positive they where produce exclusively for those game's. The extremely small .50 or less and rough unfinished pontils made them useless for almost anything else, no shooting this one, and if you did you could never get it to roll straight because of the rough pontils.

I like the yellow and blue rainbow I don't have that color combo yet, the last year or two I started collecting them, being a shortage on the more prominent Pelts, now everyone is, collectors are holding onto what they have. " great pics Bruce, thanks " Chad G.

Another from an old auction I had, a bifurcated dragon bee, one of the more common bifurcated combos but one I love.

An NLR from one of my old auctions. I assure you that the pictures are quite accurate. A pinkish base w/ rusty brown ribbons, actually in hand the marble is even more pink than in these pics. Yes Peltier did use pink glass i.e. the pink flamingo & the pink panther. I've also seen a few pink banana cats.

Talk about an odd Pelt. @ .753 " A miller machine marble I've dubbed a Mustard Tree, my friend Terry has it for sale. Where does one end and the other begin ????

Don't stop now Ron !!! them's some mighty nice Alley's, man I love flames, great black av., metalics and caligs. Reminds me of the old day's. "Thanks for posting all those Ron", I know you have more, go on ahead let R rip, I could look @ Alley's all day, "especially flames"
-
Chalkies, caligs and an abalone, again Bill you're killin me Fantastic mibs man !!!!!!!! Appreciate the pics Bill, thanks I forgot to put in my calig. not really a flame @ all more all over the map type. I'll post it later on a calligraphy thread.

I found another board w/ original marbles intact, coreless swirls all .50 or smaller ( pee-wee ) on a small general grant board. These pee-wee marbles where made for the game. There are smaller Victorian era board's like the first few General Grant's I posted, an almost pocket size rendition.

Great fancy Roby, a beauty.

A new wall, maybe a little easier, a few clues in the pix like the other, many colors of av. in this one green, silver, a fleck or two of blue and one other visible color that I can't say, it could give the I.D. away, "good luck" !!!!!!!!! Another clue ??? This is a "Pelt" TIME DRAWS NEAR, HERE'S ANOTHER BIG CLUE !!!!!! DEAD GIVE AWAY NOW, FIRST ONE TO CHIME IN IS PROBABLY GONNA GUESS THIS I.D. ANOTHER ONE!! IT'S GETTING CLOSE !!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN SEE THE GREEN, SILVER AND, ("BRONZE") AV. LAST CLUE, REMEMBER THIS IS A COMMON "PELT", JUST NOT THE MULTI COLORED AV. IN IT !!!! THIS IS A PICTURE OF THIS MARBLES " NAMESAKE " READ ALL THE CLUES, A DEAD GIVEAWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " THE NAMESAKE " MIDNIGHT ON THE 1st OF NOV. THIS ONE TOO WILL BE REVEALED, PROBABLY THE EASIEST OF THE BUNCH, I'VE GIVEN EVERY CLUE I CAN, EVEN THE NAMESAKE OF THE MIB??? THE CLOCK IS TICKING 🕰️ ALMOST TIME !!! OK 1 MORE !!! THIS MARBLE USUALLY HAS AV. ONLY IN THE BLACK W/ NONE AT ALL SOMETIMES, A "PELTIER" " ----- "

A long time comin, and a lot of patience, "thanks Roby" someone will turn up w/ just what you have been waiting for, took me years. Somebody's gonna chime in here w/ some you and I have only seen in books or dreamed of, but at least we'll have the pics. Some of my best mibs came right through my front door, I wasn't even looking. A blessing. If Ron and Chuck chime in were in for a treat, they both love Alley like I do and have some top dog examples, multi colors, av. etc......... I seen some of jeeperman's examples of Alley flames also that had me drooling, simply unattainable for me to much $$$$ Chad

Thanks Bonnie!!!!!!!!!!

Da Roberto, I found one just like yours that sold on Ebay a couple weeks ago described simply as an Alley swirl, no name just Alley swirl, looks as if Ron was correct, no name still a very nice Alley marble, even the backlit pic looks like yours.
