  1. Size??--It always matters Wolf--always. What concerns me here is the finish and that lack of "shinyness" or glassy finish that pushes me towards a WVS that is older than a Jabo. I do not really see any CAC here. Just me--and I do look--very hard. Nice marble regardless. Nice share! Marble--On!!
  2. I agree both very similar and Vitro imho. The green base may be a result of your imaging but it does look a tad weird to me. I love -em. Marble--On!!
  3. I agree with "Favorites" here. This may be a Vitro Tri lite--may even a "Superior". Regardless of the ID--nice marble! I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  4. This one reminds me of some that are from Asia--they usually have a shiny(a loss for words here ) spray coat in my experience. Marble--On!!
  5. Nice marbles VA! That middle one lights up the show for sure--Pink? in a Popeye?? Very cool. Thanks for sharing these. Marble--On!!
  6. Welcome back Ric! I for one, have missed you here. I am sure that we all do here at "TheMarbleConnection". Marble--On!!
  7. His voice did the sinking of this ship just the respect that it needed. Great Post William.
  8. Well, I do not get the name but I agree that they are very well made marbles. The clearity of the first one will hold up to any machine made marbles across the globe. I just love a nice clear matrix. Thanks for the info--- Marble--On!!
  9. Yep, that whip tail is just awesome to find in what I would call a wvs of some sort or make. I am not willing to call this one a CAC however. I will lean towards Alley Agate. Great share here! Marble--On!!
  10. Thanks for this info GreyMaus. Any hog farmer that makes marbles is a respected member of the marble community---for sure. Marble--On!!
  11. @Chad G. can help you out here--great marble!! Marble--On!!
  12. This is a new term for me--I always appreciate an education. Marble--On!!
  13. Third in from the left--maybe-- All that you show are Vitro Imho-including the ones below this Parrot post. @Melissa is my go to with Vitro ID along with @Ric who generally takes the warms months off from marbles here at "TheMarbleConnection". All in all-very nice finds and Thanks for sharing them here. Marble--On!!
  14. I like the call and the name--chikadee-dee-dee-dee. They are there when I fill the feeders--almost landing on my head for some more food. They are the dogs of the bird world--they just love humans. Marble--On!!
  15. Not quite my marble collecting friend. Your last image shows MK "Bumblebees" Your first one is one in a thousand--or more of these--a Peltier. Nice group however!. Marble--On!!
  16. As all birds do Fire--this is the way. Nature on!!
  17. There are always clues--we do not all recognize them. I have a feeling that @Melissa knows this one. Marble--On!!
  18. Love --em Tommy-- Great one--the first--this color combo in a Master just knocks my socks off. The "Tiger Eye" is just a killer marble-------- Marble--On!!
  19. You are right on imho. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more--- Marble--On!!
  20. This one is a clay marble called a "Bennington". The little marks on the outside are a result of them being stacked during the firing process--they kinda stuck to each other and the glaze was not melted into the touch marks--the little eyes-- Cool marbles--every one likes these--they are like the Chickadee of marbles-and if you do not like Chickadee's--the bird----see some one for your mental health. . Marble--On!!
  21. Well, believe it or not--"All Reds" did not always have red involved. I think that you are on the right track here. Marble--On!!

    I.D please

This one does not look modern imho. Nice swirl--no ID from me. Marble--On!!
  23. Nice marbles for sure--just take my advice on the Prior posts. Marble--On!!
  24. The ones that you show are all foreign to the good ole USA. Your first image—the one on the right. Find a bunch of this type (maybe 100) and post them- in a big group—we can pick them out and tell you what we want you to show in a more closely chosen group. Make these images nice and sharp—well cropped and we all will pick out a few to ID for you. This is tuff—The ID of marbles—this is what we all do here —do not hold back—give us your best images and be rewarded. This will take some work from you—just do not give up—spend a day or two at Marbles ID and you may become a collector—like the rest of us nutty folks’ here. Marble—On!!
  25. Welcome RachelWB to “TheMarbleConnection”, You are going to need a lot of help here and I hope that you get it from us here at “TheMarbleConnection”. I am not really into contemporary hand-made marbles but that is what you are showing us here except for one--#2. I will suggest that image #3 is made with fiber Optic Cable and that #2 is just a beat up, very old, machine made slag.*(not hand-made) The white pig is called a Sulphide but I do not recognize the signature. Many modern glass makers try these and most fail—this one is not too shabby imho. The last pig trio is more than likely made with a polymer clay. I collect Pigs for some reason and I like this group. If your marbles all resemble these, your inheritor / inheritress were into modern stuff that will still hold some value. I suggest that you look through the collection and find the smaller marbles with three colors involved or more. Size does matter in marble collecting but most of the value in this hobby is with those one inch or smaller. Marble—On!!
