  1. Fritos started back in the 1930's so it would not surprise me if they used that kind of bag.
  2. Interesting article - did not read it completely but the marbles playing logic fits in quite well.
  3. Great ideas so far. I would include a package or two of marbles - maybe the newer Mega nets so people can see what is currently available to buy for their kids to play with.
  4. When I first saw the picture in small size, I was hoping it was one of the Vitro Blackies in the odd style that we see in packaging but rarely in the wild - but, alas, it does look Akro.
  5. Where is that picture from? That will help determine if it is a good source for info. Mistakes were made in some books.

  16. A few of my Blackies bags. Also, outside of a bag, the white Blackies might look a lot like a Whitie and may have been ID'd that way. Not sure if harder to find but just two ways to ID so might not be kept by collector as a Blackie.
  17. This is the first one that I have looked at and we need more views to get a good ID. Red & white are hard enough anyway since many companies made similar marbles in those colors. Look at some of the other ID requests where there are 3-4 pictures of different views of same marble. If someone said similar things about another post, I apologize for any duplication of advice.
