Ric
One of the best times I have ever had . . . Alley Agate, Pennsboro, WV. I'm the person who's not Ron or Nola. 🙂 Shout-out to Bill for taking the pic! Some of the spoils. A couple of days I will never forget!

Ric
Until I dug this marble: I was not entirely sure where this one belonged. Obviously, different marbles photographed on different days with different backgrounds - they're identical in hand.

akroorka
Wednesday is named for the god Woden, who is paralleled with the Roman god Mercury, probably because both gods shared attributes of eloquence, the ability to travel, and the guardianship of the dead. This marble has done it all. I got it out of a very wild lot. It is out of round and obviously used by the gamer that loved it as much as I do. Due to the bubbles in the glass it may look worse than it is—so be it. I spent a few weeks of time trying to ID it and I finally found it in a salesman’s sample box —thanks for that by the way—!! The pink is better than I can show—Pink and green what a wonder. You never know what it may be until you do the research----I love this stuff! Marble—On!!!

If you want to make the pink come out, try photographing it on a good yellow background. I was shocked at how much better pinks show up when you do. Please don't ask me why though, because I have no idea. 1

wvrons
Pennsboro WV Glass Factory Hallow. The Pennsboro WV Alley factory building sometime 1915-1935. There were five different major glass companies here all at the same time. The Alley building was by far the smallest. I think that I double posted the green swirl. 3
