Al Oregon
Obviously does not have a corkscrew pattern. Maybe a very odd Popeye Patch?
Chad G.
I agree w/ Al, I don't see any Pelt, looks like a messed up Akro "to me" Do you have a size Dave ?? The pic makes it look huge ?? By the way "Nice Score"

Alan
Its missing the wispy white that would make it a Popeye. Plus as noted before, its not a corkscrew.

I'llhavethat1
Not seeing Pelt, but good golly if only some better focused pics could help us decide on this interesting find? Do you know anybody that has a decent camera or lightbox that could help?
wvrons
Not Peltier and I am not sure it is Akro. It is not a Popeye cork or Popeye patch.

Most of my pics I'd take with a crappy Kodak 5mp. I didn't have the patience for messing with ISO settings, aperture, or anything other than flash or focus. If your girlfriend has photography skills, maybe she'd want to help you with the pics? You come across some very interesting groups of marbles! You come across some very interesting groups of marbles! Nothing wrong with a 5MP camera. A well-focused and lit 5MP pic is far, far better than a fuzzy, out-of-focus pic at 3 times the resolution.
