mike didn't make it... he was just as amazed as I was on the art. but mike is a contemp artist. I will post a picture of a marble I got from him later. it's really super!

thanks Bo.... check out this tiny torch worker. actual size is about 2 1/2"... (and Mike Warren taking a picture of the piece as well) no kidding, the glass art was amazing. and the hotel LOVED having the marble show. we had staff in the show on their breaks buying marbles! wish you could have come.

really tired, has such a GREAT time.... i posted pictures on the 'Past events' page at the website... IAMC I never ran out of marbles I wanted! just ran out of the old $$$ LOL! The show had a steady stream of people all day long. The hotel was super. thanks to everyone that came! more later.... gotta find some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ's

Boy it's hard to say not seeing it in hand, because colors are rarely true monitor to monitor. I lean towrds vitro, but can't say 100%. The red in the vitros is a little different. But I agree, I would be happy with it too! it's one dang purdy marble!

I was watching that marble but passed because of the annealing issues. It is akro all the way. Yes Vitro has similar colors. Vitro ordered from akro. Raelyn bought all the vitro factory merchandise from the Anacortes factory, including a lot of vintage paperwork, a few years back. she was kind enough to give us an old Akro order form to vitro.
