  1. Listings look good - condition will be paramount on bids...
  2. Naw, instead of coreless swirls they are glassless core swirls
  3. I'm not sure. I think Don Miller had once surmised that it might have been an advertising bag used by Vitro or some other company that marketed marble bag giveaways to companies.
  4. Neat items. I see the "Free Marbles" bag from time to time and I have only seen those types of marbles in them. I have a couple of the "paper" bags and I've assumed they are from bread or cereal giveaways but no proof. Here's a pic of mine. I opened one to see the type of marbles.
  5. I haven't seen a package with those types of marbles - anyone have pics? Scott?
  6. If it is a cold roll mark (smooth not sharp edges), most consider that as-made and would fall in the mint category. That being said, if it is being advertised for sale as mint, the seller should really disclose the cold roll mark as it would affect the value of the marble, whether a common Jabo or a high end CA swirl.
  7. That's a bag (with the metallic shooter) that I don't have. I've seen several bags with that style shooter, though, so I'm guessing they at least did one run of shooters with the metallic in them. Of course, it could have been accidental at the time but it affected quite a few of the similar marbles.
  8. And to prove the shooter is Vitro, here's some in the bag...
  9. I agree - Michelangelos and they don't show on Fabricas Selectas site as available.
  10. I am surprised at that. While the number of walk-in people for the actual show varies around the country, usually the "regulars" come for the in-room trading and, at least, stay for the first half of the show (they may be manning their table). I've gone to only the Texas Show and a spring WV show besides the regular west coast shows in Seattle area, Orange County (L.A.) and Las Vegas. To financially support the show, most regulars at the in-room trading also pay for a table at the show (some of them don't even man a table) but they are there. Unless it is a popular local show, the attendance fee helps just a little towards the oevrall show cost. Just my two-bits.
  11. Here was a salmon/pink color Rainbo of mine that I took a picture of a few years ago - only one view and I can't find it right away to take more.
  12. Here's a pic of one of my bags that looks to have similar translucent type base glass in some of the marbles.
  13. That's the fun of buying a large lot - sorting, finding surprises, learning, etc. I bought many that way when I first started collecting.
  14. Price?......you call that a price?........LOL......(probably a 20th of your high bid!) (good find)
  15. It mentions being over 3/4. I cna't remember if the New Old Fashioned got that big. Otherwise, I agree that it fits theChampion New Old Fashioned perfectly.
  16. Nice to see a different game and people enjoying marbles. Thanks!
  17. On the 081, 087 pics, I'd be thinking Champion.
  18. My calendar must be off (I have this coming Sunday as the date...?) but any time to wish a Marbleous Birthday is a good time!
  19. My first thought if someone posted a picture would be Alley. Haven't seen a CA like that so it must be rare!
  20. Neat idea - works for shipping a marble or two, too.
  21. Neat items - thanks for sharing.
