Sorry for this Ron, That Black is obviously dark green according to your images at least. A really great Marble--No Doubt----but---🚫

I would love to see some "True Black" in any marble that you may have. I am still convinced that it does not exist.🙈

I am a big fan of Vacor “Red Roosters”.

Let’s put them next to some Akro Corks that were marketed as “”Cardinal Reds” in the “Cardinal Reds” boxes that we are more familiar with holding “Cardinal Red” Slags.

I am of course a Cork Head but these “Roosters” are some very nice ones and if you place them just right, they may fool you.

Akro On!!

And Vacors are not too shabby either!!

 A limeade patch with the infamous dull shear (eyelash) marks. Don't know why but I like this imperfection ??

Alright, Excellent !! I got a set of those this year too, I didn't know mine were opalescent till I got home and held em up to the light. Some nice glass for sure man  :thup:   Is yours a bowl or a plate ??

I did some research on Hazel Atlas just this week---interesting stuff to be found. Claims are that they were the first to produce opal glass in the US. The glass in side of the old Zinc canning jar lids is opal made by guess who.
