akroorka Posted March 11, 2022 Report Share Posted March 11, 2022 Here is a nice “Milky”Oxblood, just under ¾”, there are some inclusions in this one but I have found that “Milky’s usually have a problem here or there, folds, bad coverage, as made pollution, etc. There must have been a very long run of these and the sorters just got bored. Current Akroware prices are the lowest that I have ever seen them. Time to buy. The last picture has a vintage box set with a Ladies hair brush and mirror. vanity or dresser set. Years ago Bill McCaleb and myself dug these clear ornate glass pieces at Akro off and on for a year. We had no idea and never knew what they were. We threw them back in the dirt and discarded them once again. You have a lot of great multicolor pieces, Ron. And thanks for the info - it didn't show well in the pic but there is definitely a metallic sheen on the blue inside the lid of the powder I showed.
