Condition looks pretty rough but a couple are interesting. With the glass marbles just be careful with hot/cold change of temperature, they could fracture. The China's look clean enough I'd probably just leave them.
But are they Shades of Deep Purple? lol couldn't resist.
Yeah so purple makes perfect sense for Navarre. I'll stick with my original guess on the top one
Something looks wonky with that Lutz, a re-melt would be my guess.
The peppermint swirl (red, white, blue) in the group shot also looks a bit suspect in terms of the reverse twist and number of red bands.
by manufacturer mainly. Although sorting by pattern (patches, swirls, flames), or era (Handmade, transitional, machine made, modern) might make sense for some people. Same with color combos, or Country of origin (German, Japanese, Mexican, Dutch)
Welcome to the site! As others mentioned, a lot of vintage German handmade marbles from your inherited collection.
From the pics I'd say at least a dozen would be considered on the higher end of things, the 6 individual ones the most.
Nice marbles. When it comes to value, condition is Very important to collectors. Although sentimental value is another thing that is hard to associate a cost with. Thanks for sharing!
I was on the fence with "mist" but for some reason thought they had Mica along with the translucent colors. Not a type I think of often, thanks for jogging my memory
