  1. I went out to trim the bushes and vines in the rain. I love the rain. Trimming the vines is just sort of a way to dance in the rain without anyone knowing I'm dancing. But I'm not too afraid of anyone seeing me. In our last rain I went out into the road and splashed in the puddles.
  2. Heard about the World's Biggest Marble Hunt? It's mentioned here: Have you lost your marbles? Go find them in St. Louis! WBMH has a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1701482663452819/
  3. "Marbles in the soup" ... marbles used for food photography ... to force the good stuff to the top of the bowl. http://www.dmagazine.com/publications/d-ceo/2008/may/marbles-in-the-soup/ https://muse.jhu.edu/article/468053
  4. *stares at the sunsets* (That's what we're supposed to do with sunsets, right?)
  5. Pretty sure I heard of Alphabet City before. Never thought to look it up until I just heard it in Law & Order https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabet_City,_Manhattan

I'll got with Vitro Whities for all. Interesting ones though.
  7. Neet! The structure and color combo don't click for me either. Does the base fluoresce.
  8. Well howdy. Very pretty. And that paperweight is amazing.
  9. Fajita-like things. A little bit of beef brown -- just a little -- for flavor and for oil. A bell pepper in thin slices, lightly fried with the little bit of beef. On flour tortillas. With a sprinkle of cheddar and a sprinkle of gouda. Not sure how I feel about the gouda -- mostly it's just there in the fridge and I'm helping it go away. Then a little cilantro from the freezer and some red pepper flakes. Wrap up the tortillas, 20 more seconds in the microwave, and mmmmmmmmmmmm
  10. You're still counting me as a vote against, right? I'm strongly resisting the the Vacor idea. FWIW!
  11. Another from the handsome family.
  12. a very pretty marble nice color combination, nice glass
  13. Posting the famous ID pic just to get the side-by-side. Not sure I'm seeing it, but would love someone to come in and show off their Liberty Citruses so we could see how much variation they have.
  14. Ha! I was afraid they were taking on airs. How _were_ they made? Changes between runs of different colors? Or chemical reactions doing funky stuff with the copper-based colors?
